Promises are made to be Broken?

We all know that some of couples are getting strong by having Promises on each other, but everytime that they're going to break up, they always saying that "Promises are made to be broken" then what is the purpose of promises if it was made for no reason?,
I'm one of the Victim of this Line,, She has many promises on me, she said that she will never leave me, but one they, she leave me alone, for no reason, she gone, and when I try to talk to her and asking "where are your promises? :(" and she said that "Promises are just made to be Broken", I Lived with her promises :( I Trust her because of her promises, but why PROMISES are can't be done :( is there something wrong with PROMISES?, and what are PROMISE is for? :(

@tech40 I really really hate that saying. "Promises are made to be broken." That is total bull. Only reason it become a saying and people live by that saying is because they suck at keeping their promises. If one can not live up to keeping their promises then they should stop making promises!!!!

@tech40 lol oh boy I was angry typing that but I seriously PROMISE it wasn't you making me angry. I'm just 100% against people who break promises or lie.

I do not believe in this saying because being a thoughtful person makes me always think of the welfare of others rather than me.If anyone I know do this to me you would never find me in your area again,and you would never expect me coming back to you.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i feel extremely bad for the incident that has happened with u and rather u should be thankful to God that you were able to see the real being of that girl. I think those who make big big promises later on to break those promises only and that only reflects what type of personality and background they have. We still have many people who are very much firm about their promises but sometimes we also break promises for good.

It happens, life is not perfect and the promises seems not that idealistic to ponder. But the most important thing is to be loyal and treat you with respect. Good day!

I have never been a good one to make promises. In my lifetime I was given so many promises about things and 99% of them were broken. i didnt want to do the same thing. So I try to do things. But I stay away from promising Ill do them. Its safer for me that way. Have a great day there.
