I bought a new smooth counter top oven. After a few months, I realize it is so difficult to clean the spills, dirt on top of it. It makes mark. I have scrubbed it, but there is still like a film on top. I have tried several different type of cleaners. When I bought the oven, it came with 1 small bottle of cleaners, Brite Clean. It still doesn't do the job. Do you have trick how to clean it? What type of cleaners to use?

We use lemon juice here in mx, to clean sinks and counter tops, even stove tops.

I would throw away the bottle of brite clean and go and get a different brand of the stove top cleaner. There are better brands out there I just cant remember the name. The best way to use that cleaner is to put it on let it dry and then buff it off with a dry clean towel. It really works best if its allowed to dry before you buff it off. I used to clean houses for a maid service years ago and one of the first things we would do was to put the stove top cleaner on so that by the time we got to the kitchen it would be dry and ready to be buffed off leaving the top sparkling clean. If there are large spots of food spills I would clean those off first with warm soapy water then after you have done that put your stove top cleaner on and let it dry then buff it off. The stove top cleaner that comes with those is not really a cleaner as much as its a product to add the shine back to the top of the stove. Good luck finding a good way to clean your stove top. They really should have a class on how to properly clean those types of stoves.
