Mylot: Is a Discussion Forum and Not a Question Answer Forum!

In this discussion I am going talk about the way one is expected to participate on the social networking site Mylot. I have observed that many members they simply initiate a discussion on this site and never even bothered to look at the responses they are getting for their discussion.
This is not a proper thing to do as Mylot is a discussion forum and we are expected to discuss about the topic under discussion. I feel that members who initiate the discussions should go back to the responses and leave a suitable comment there. This is a basic courtesy one must show. And while dong so we get different opinions by the participating member on a topic which helps in understanding the topic in a better way.
Apart from that by doing so we are not only adding earnings to our account in the form of participation but we are giving an opportunity to ourselves for better ratings from the members. With each posting of ours we are entitled to get ourselves rated by our friends on this site as the rating boxes are always seen along with the each post. Thus participating in the form of commenting back to the response is always an advantageous thing.
In my experience if a response is properly commented, there are every chance that we can get an opportunity to start a discussion if the member responded is present on line. Thus by discussing on a particular topic, which is nothing more than Chatting we can make some good earnings.
I have observed that I in one discussion many people participate at the same time thus making it very interesting and lively one. While enjoying this live discussion we can conveniently add few extra cents to our earning!
Thus I in conclusion, I would like to say that Mylot is a discussion forum and it is not a social network of question and answers. So to make it alive and at the same time to have some earnings we should try to convert our topics into real discussions. Kindly leave your valuable responses, so that I can make this posting of mine as a discussion! Thanks!

I like to chat with other mylotters through their topics/discussion.
Usually I post one sentence and then comment back once the topic starter responded back.
But of course, I can only do that to certain mylotters whom I feel close with or have established closeness and bonding when it comes to communicating/discussing through topic/discussion.

And when there are people who just wont respond to their discussions does kill that entire "Discussion" thing on any MyLot Discussion. so I guess it is good for these kind of lotters to learn fast or leave the discussion md make it a question answer kind of thing...

Of course, Discussions are what mylot is for. and many a times, these discussions turn into mere posts when the starters do not respond. They lose their money anyways...
for me, I never have been here for money... but still I love to discuss and try my best to respond to all on my discussions or even on other's discussions. That way (discussing) I not only learn many new things but what is more important to me is that I make myself feel closer to many MyLot friends. and this is why I always say - Mylot is like an extended family to me.

Healthy discussion is not easy to establish with other mylotters who doesn't know what Mylot is for.
For those who think that Mylot is just a mere paid per post site -duh

You are so right that we earn a lot from commenting back to our responders and it takes off and soon others are commenting on my comments and other comments on theirs and it becomes so much fun.we earn and we have fun and we also get to know a little more about each other and we can laugh and joke too,we can enjoy chatting on our discussions.
We learn , we share a d care for one another and we also earn. for those who just make discussions and never return why are you making them since you do not want to discuss the topic with us and you dishonor us by not commenting back on our responses.

Surely it is discussion site and that's how we earn money here. Many newbies have wrong judgement that they are even earning by getting more responses. But the true thing is that by getting responses, he/she will not earn anything. By this those users will earn who are responding. User will only earn when they use this site as discussing. That's the perfect way of using mylot.

Hello dear akp, how are you? Seeing you after many days! Yes, not only newbies but also some old members also feel the same. Mere getting responses will not fetch any income to the person who has initiated a discussion. He/she has so reply to the responses to make them as a discussion to have some good earnings.
On this site 'Our earnings are directly proportional to our in put in the form of typing some sensible and helpful material in the form of our contribution!' For typing and contributing a discussion is a best way of doing it as we know what to type and how much to type in a discussion without getting ourselves bored Thanks!

I think you have point on this, but I was thinking some members would not have the time tp respond right away. It could be they are at work or doing some errands. But I am sure they would love to participate in the discussions. Good day!

I agree with you dear Shavkat, people may not have time to continue a discussion. In fact I am also one of those people. But in spite of that I try to come back to the site when ever it is possible for me and respond back to my responses in the form of comments. This thing also works many a times! I Just visited the site and responded you back and again I will be leaving this site to have my lunch! Thanks for responding!

two days ago, i noticed a new member answering discussions by posting paragraphs of text from other sites. he was also starting discussions doing the same thing. maybe he came from a question-and-answer site and thought mylot is the same and so he applied the same technique here. 
i gave admin the links to all the sites where he copied all of his posts. i can't remember his name so i don't know if he was banned already.

Such people can't pretend for a long time! They are bound to get caught, if not today, they will get exposed themselves tomorrow. In fact there is no point in impressing others with plagiarized material. Let us be our own and express our original ideas here.
Coming to the English language, there are many people on this site whose native language is not English but they are doing very nice on he site. Members can understand this fact and instead of discouraging such people they are always seen encouraging them.
Since spell check and grammar check is available in word document people whose native language is not English can take advantage of this tool to check their content before posting!
So please don't worry about those people and simply enjoy the site! Thanks a lot for your active participation dear hereandthere!

Hello Dear Hereandthere! This type of activity is commonly seen with new members. In fact such members join the site just to make money and they have no other interest. In the past I too have come across such members. Such members have no chance on Mylot. Our admin. is very strict and I am sure by this time his account must have got deleted by the admin.
Copying the contents of others and that too from the same site shows the take it easy attitude of the member and his disrespect towards the site. It seems his/her he has forgotten the fact that Plagiarized articles or passages can be easily traced out by any one today with any search Engines. I sincerely appreciate your efforts and loyalty which you have shown while making complaint against this member.
In fact if properly participated on Mylot in true sense of making some interesting discussions we can make good friends, we can have good entertainment and we can make some extra income together with a feel good emotion.

because i believe that we should all be on equal footing here and plagiarism is cheating to get ahead of others.
many people here are doing their best to express themselves in english even if it's not their native language, then along comes someone who just copy/pastes from the internet to sound "impressive" and "authoritative" and even receive praises about how "smart" they are, when the ugly truth is they are just stealing other people's words. they don't belong here.

You are so right that multi is a discussion forum, and not just for asking and answering questions. There are so many users, that really don't know how to discuss, so they just ask questions and how for the answers they are seeking. I don't like responding to those add they really have no merit or quality. You are right to, that there are some that don't comment back to the responses they receive.That is also rude, as the one making the discussion should take the time to comment back. I think that some feel they will earn whether they comment back or not. They don't realize that when they type they earn, but when they don't, they won't earn.They have the Norton they will earn off others, Burr that is where the guidelines come in.I always comment back to the responses I receive, as that is only common courtesy.Take care, and have fun mylotting.

Hello dear Rosekiss! I think most of the newbie are treating this site as a question answer forum and they hardly bother to comment back on the responses they are getting to their discussions! Apart from the fact that it looks rude, I think these people are missing the fun of participation in the discussion along with the earnings also which other wise they could made from such participation!
You are very true on this site no body can earn from some other's participation! One has to exert to earn himself/herself by actively participating in the form of typing their discussions, responses or comments!
