Most Awkward date ever!

I had a date where we were went to a couple of parks and just enjoy our surroundings and seeing the fountains shoot out with the cold water onto the sleek pavement when we see a couple of cops running toward us as we realize the clattering of footsteps coming toward our way. They stopped and asked if I owned a gray Accord, and I said yes, though it really was my mother's car. They immediately surrounded us, and there seemed to be one furious cop who was coming up and said to my date, "Ma'am, is there a problem around here? We've recently were alarmed of a man in a gray accord abusing a woman while driving, and we just want to make sure. Has this man abused you?" I was beyond nervous because I originally thought that this was a set-up, until they started to have their handicuffs out. Thankfully, she told the police off, and I felt relieved after the cops told us not to go into dark alleys.
