A Happy & Proud Sister

Hi Everyone!
My brother just makes me happy today and so it gives me an inspiration to write here in Mylot again. 
Just like my title says, yes I am one happy and proud sister to my one and only brother. (well its just the to of us.) He made me happy for many times already because he's one good, loving and considerate brother. As some of my friends know, I am the one who helped him finished his studies...(a joint effort in the family actually.) He made us all happy when he graduated in college last April and landed a job right a way.
I am happy that he already have his job and was able to help our parents, for a short period of time of having a job, he as able to have our house repaired like changing the roofs and so on and was able to give money to our mom for house expenses...
And today, I tried to text him to ask for some financial help...well I don't really ask anything from him ever since, just now because I need the money and my money will come on December...anyway, what makes me happy is that when I texted him, he replied right away and he said that "yes sis, I have the money that you needed, I will send it to you, just give me your account number..."
That message makes me want to cry for joy, not because I already have the money that I needed but because he replied positively without asking anything... I just told him the amount that I need and didn't include anything as to where I'm going to use it or to when will I return it...but still he give without hesitation and without asking... I don't mind paying it since I borrow it. But still my brother just makes me really happy today and makes me more proud of him... And yes, that's something new that I discovered about him today...that he will be ready to help us without asking.
How about you guys? Do you have something to share about your brother or sisters that makes you happy and proud?

Happy to see you back. I am proud on your brother as he is the reason to get back you in mylot.
It is so nice to read about your brother dear. Infact most of the sibling are kind and considerate to each other. When any one need a help they are rushing to the place without caring their own needs, that is the strength of blood relation.
I have only one brother, he is also so considerate to all of his three sisters. Even if he doesn’t have money in hand he will do something to help, any one need his help. But we too try our best, not to take the advantage of his broadminded attitude.

Yeah yeah, I know that most of the siblings are there for each other, ready to help no matter what and will always stay by our side, in my case here, I am just so surprised in his reaction that he don't even ask why I need that money and to where I will use it, he just say yes even if I know that he too need that money. hehe
I'm so happy because to some people I know, even if their brothers/sisters are helping them in some financial matter, before they give the money, they will say a lot of things and ask so much...to the point that you don't want to ask for some financial help from them again...
Its really so great to have a brother like ours...

It shows how grateful he is to be part of a loving, understanding, and supportive family. He won't be that way if he feels otherwise about you as a sister or about the family as a whole. I've seen some siblings who always bicker with each other especially when it comes to money matters as they do not trust each other anymore for one reason or another...

You have been away from MyLot too? same here!!!
Anyway,I have a sister who is as understanding as your brother.. We're also in the middle of a crisis that all of our earnings and salary went to by just paying the bills and debts. My sister is such a blessing. Right now she is living with us and she is helping us out with our short comings. She is the one whose buying my son's milk and some groceries. I just can't thank her enough for being such a great help.

I'm glad to hear about your wonderful brother. If I will be in your position I will really be proud as well having a brother like him. As to this days, we really can differentiate a lot of guys when they turn to their adulthood. Some would be self focusing, others might be thinking of getting married and some would reaally just enjoy what they have. Glad to hear that your brother seems to be so responsible which you and your parents would really be proud of. I assumed it is all because of you and how your parents raised the two of you. You probably did a good job in guiding yuor brother all throughout that's why he turned out to be as responsible as he can be.
