Hi everyone, I just have this nagging feeling because not all my discussions get good number of response and even if they do they are always the once that i started in some "general" interest category not the specific one which it was suppose to go? a) Is it alright if i do that? b) Is that how many of you do, i've answered some discussions but most of them seem to be in the right category? c) If my theory is correct, in order to get your discussion viewed by many (to get lots of response) should we choose an interest which is common to everyone?

I do, as some people including my self look a the topic first. Then I go and read the post, before responding to it.

As much as possible, I don't start a discussion under "general discussion" because I believe it won't help in increasing my interest ranking. For every interest that we participates, we will get rank and the more post you have on that interest, your rank will get higher, unless your posts are derogatory or in bad quality. But you may not focus that much on making it higher coz I believe it won't help in our earnings. But still, I can say that it is still better to always make your new topic fall under your interests list. Well, factors that may help in getting more responses is first, add more friends, because the more friends you have, the better chance your discussion will be read. Also, topics that often gets many responses are those general topics or those ones that most or all people can relate to. It is better to avoid topics that only few have knowledge on. I hope this helps. Good day and happy myLotting!
