the case of Reza eka wardana, one of student in Jogja becomes highlights.. there are rumour that the officer police makes fatal attack and makes the students die.. .A Gunung Kidul Police officer could face a maximum sentence of seven years in prison if he is found guilty of fatally assaulting a high school student in Yogyakarta. Reza Eka Wardana, a student form SMA Dominicus Wonosari, was in a coma for nine days before he died at Bethesda Hospital in Yogyakarta on Saturday, following a road incident with the suspected police officer named Brig. M. Yogyakarta Police said Brig. M. threw his helmet at the 16-year-old student riding a motorbike after he allegedly almost hit the officer on the eve of Idha Adha. “There will be a reenactment at the crime scene [tonight] with the suspect's presence to reveal the right facts,” said Yogyakarta police chief Brig. Gen. Sabar Raharjo on Tuesday as quoted by Antara news agency. “The case has been taken over by Yogyakarta Police [from the Gunung Kidul police].” “We need to prove whether the victim's injuries were caused by the helmet that hit his head or whether it was because his body smashed the asphalt when he fell off his motorcycle,” Sabar said. The police have already questioned 13 witnesses including seven police officers. “A forensic autopsy is the only way for us to find the accurate cause of the injuries,” he said. “If necessary, we should look at his body with the family's consent." If the investigation show that the officer police is guilty, it will become the bad note for police institutions.. It will makes Police become public enemy... Many people lost their respect for the police institutions and their police themselves.. what do you think about this case??

This kind of thing has happened here in Mexico as well. Police officers think they can do anything and get away with it.

Police brutality has been on the rise. It happens not just in developing countries, but also in those supposedly highly civilized western countries. How could law enforcers break the law that they enforce? Are they not the same as those law breakers that they are after? It is a sign that the society is sick when the police breaks the law regularly. Something must be done to change the society, and then only could the police force be reformed if we wish to live in a better world.
