My little boy knows it is quicker to say where we haven't been

My little boy is five years old and disabled. He knows it is quicker to say where we haven't been than it is where we have been. I find this very funny and before he was born I had been to even more places. At school he talks to other kids which have been to Spain. He said we haven't been there. Actually we had a very miserable time at Madrid Airport last year due to a missed connection. I went to the Canary Islands when I was in my early twenties. They are islands in the Atlantic Sea but they are Spanish. Spain owns those islands. Where haven't you been but you fancy going to? Have you ever got off a plane to get a connecting flight? Did you ever go to an island belonging to a particular country?

Such a lucky boy he is with as much passion of traveling as his mom... I may have mentioned this before, but I'd like to go to Europe some day. When I was in Indonesia, I went to Pulau Seribu or 'a Thousand Island'. It's not that far off from a main island in Indonesia. I guess it is called such because it is like a cluster of smaller islands where people can visit for leisure.

I've been to Hawaii and even though its owned or part of the United States it felt like we were in another country. I've been to lots of places but I think it would be easier for to say where I've been then where I haven't because that would be a longer list. You guys have been everywhere so it would be easier for him to say that.

I went to the Canary Islands too back in 1999 I think it was, I remember the bad bits about it, going with a partner I didn't love, it being far too hot for me and having possessions stolen, no I would never go back, but in a way I am glad I went. I haven't really been far in my travels, certainly never been further than Europe. One place I do fancy going to is Sweden, maybe one day I will get there, but I am only interested in countries that have colder climates. Your little boy is quite a character which made me smile.

I have been to many islands belonging to countries, but there are some islands where I`d like to go and haven`t been yet. The one nearest my heart is Rapanui (Easter Island) an island that is part of my country. Maybe I`ll have the chance to visit it next year if my rapanui friend gets married in the island. He just had a baby girl. I saw him last week and he talked a lot about marriage.

I spent 55 days in the US and got in and off 21 planes all arriving and departing on time a real feat for me! I don't belong to that category where one can count on their finger tips places they have not visited. I have a long way to go. I did start well and covered many places of interest until I met with an accident here in the year 2006 that halted my travel plans. I would still want to visit Alaska all going well. When I went on that cruise in the Bahamas through Royal Caribbeans, we were taken to the Coco Kay Island which I am told is just about 7x28 miles. The white sands fascinated me. I even picked up a shell from there as a memento. From the little what I know you could easily be a candidate for the Guinness Book of World Records when it comes to the number places one has visited. And now you have passed on those genes to your little son!!

it reminds me of my mother's ob-gyne who loves travelling. i think she's in her late 60s or early 70s now. when people ask her where she's been, she says ask me where i haven't been. somehow, i correctly guessed that she hasn't been to africa and the middle east. i'm not sure if she's been to central or south america. there are many places here in asia i'd like to go to, but there are more places i should explore here in my own country first.
