Growing up, I did not have a lot! I knew what I wanted to do. I know what I am capable of doing. I know what my limitations are. Life is precious and can be cut short at any time! Focus on the positive people and things in your life. Who really needs anyone telling them that they need to experience things that that person has written about! I got a very bad black eye from someone who has a violent side when I was homeless. I am still seeing spots because the guy hit my right eye very hard. Before anyone says that I deserve it be careful saying that people deserve to go through anything because that can very well happen to you. No one deserves to be homeless. No one deserves violence or deserves to die. What everyone needs to do is look out for each other! Do not tell people they need to go theough any experience because that will come back to you sooner or later! I love those who are kind and who show respect. Those who cut people down without really knowing what the other person is going through or has gone through just makes you look bad. There are reasons why people go through every situation. Being homeless, meeting the wrong people, whatever, read what others write, think before you criticize anyone for what they write unless you want what you say that is bad to anyone to happen to you in any lifetime!

I agree with you desertrose.. Being homeless is not joke; and it is not always something the person could control.. One day they had a place and the next it is gone for one reason or another.. I think some people are not able to be kind to homeless people because of all of the fakers out there.. People that dress up like they are homeless to get things for free; and they do this alot.. Then go back home and put their spoils away for the next day.. Or spend it on things that were not the reason people give him or her the money to begin with.. The fakers should be the ones that are looked down upon not the ones that truely need help..

Your right. Those who really need help are not getting it. Those who do have their own place and beg should be made examples of and their faces known so they are never given money again!

I do think going through experiences is important, but longing for really exciting ones and think people who haven't had one are boring is really bad. I'd rather live a boring life than a life where I lost all my loved ones or I was beat into oblivion. People should care and respect each other the way they are.

Oh, yeah. Sometimes, some people are tactless. They should think of what they are writing or saying. We all have ups and downs. If they are up now, it doesn't mean that they will stay there forever. I hope that won't happen to them. Maybe, they can't survive if that will happen. Being homeless is a very difficult situation. Not all of us are given our own home. We should strive to buy one. They're lucky if they are given one. Instead of saying hurtful words, they should extend their help instead. God tells us to love one another and notto destroy each other. I hope you're in good situation now. God bless.

What a experience. We really learn from experiences in life. I agree on what you have written too. Thanks for this.

Experiences is not thing everyone easily has been. People say that: "Something which we know is not experience, something which we undergo is experience". So if you have a extensive knowledge, I am not sure you have any experience. Therefore, in our lifetime, if we do very many things we have many experiences and otherwise.

I feel so sorry for you. Bad experiences really happens in life. Bad people are always around us. Sometimes they are allowed to happen and mingle to us. And we alone knows why God let it happens. I may never know why it happened to you at this time but maybe God was just trying to teach you something in your life. Everything happens for a reason. It may hurt us but in time we will realize there's something to learn from it. Sometimes we just need to be optimist despite all that happened to us.
