I am doing research, but have found that the second best way to get information is from those that have "been there, done that". I got this way as when I was delivering my second child, my male OB told me to "stop yelling, it doesn't hurt that bad and you are disturbing others in the ward". Like he knows ANYTHING about how much it does or doesn't hurt and being in the delivery ward..there isn't one woman there that either knows she will be doing the same any time now, and those that "have been there, done that" and neither group will mind at all to hear some yelling! But off track..
I need to lower my cholesterol. I am at 182. Up from 144 this time last year. I dont' see that I have done anythimg different. I always watch what I eat and don't eat candy, sodas, and always watch fat in the ingredient label...I do work and try to eat healthy. I guess the worst I can say is I eat 3 Del Taco tacos once a week! I can't exercise much as I have a brain tumor removed and reprocutions of that are that I can't move fast enough to get heart rate up and move fast enough to burn calories without passing out!
But there are ways, I know, I just have to find them. While I am doing other research... I'd like to hear what you guys out in MyLot world know or do to help keep the Big C down. My doctor told me not to worry about it, it isn't that high and I know 200 is the time they start to tell you to maybe you should worry a little adn start doing something, but I don't want to wait. I want to get it down now. So...please if anyone knows of ways/ideas that have worked for you or for someone you know...please let me know!

Maybe you should make a diet list for yourself in order to control the cholesterol!
Besides, you need to balance your meal, and make your stomach full especially the dinner.
Apart from attention on daily meals, you also need do strengthen your exercise. Outdoor exercise will do benefits for your health such as jogging in the morning or taking a walk after meals.
Often sports are also very necessary such as swimming or balls, which will not only do good physically but mentally!!
Live a scientific life and bing yout cholestrol down!!!

My diet is okay, I think it was the meat....I went 5 years without a bar-b-q and when I bought my first house.. I could now bar-b-q/grill and we did for nearly every day to make up for lost time! So From learning here, I think I ate to much red meat.
My problem with exercising is I can't do it fast enough for it to do anything. I had a brain tumor removed 7 years ago, and another one last year and if I move that fast, I pass out! I have a twist board and I can do that for exercise, but it isn't doing much...I mainly do that and walk for cardio benefits.

I personally do not believe that moderately high cholesterol is a bad thing. I think low cholesterol might be more harmful. Have you read Dr. Mercola on the subject?
