Avoiding Facebook, Avoiding Video Chat, Avoiding Sister In Law

she knows i hate video chatting. i hate that they even invented that. it takes the safety that you get from not having to see people on line. they reason why i do face book, is so i don't have to talk to anyone on the phone or face to face. now, why do we have to mess things up with video chat? now, it's going to cause me to be hiding out on facebook avoiding her like i do off line. sigh. i tell you.....
anyway, i feel safe her in mylot. no one no knows i come here. no one knows about here. he he he.

I agree with you a hundred percent. I was never one for the phone & like you I hate video chatting. I don't mind chatting through a messenger service like Yahoo or GTalk, but I hate being on video. That's also another reason why I like Facebook, because I can communicate with my family & friends without having to actually see them. I know that sounds horrible, but I just hate being on the video cam.

No it is not horrible , it is but natural for us having that kind of nature. I am also like you , can't find a reason why do we need to see each other when words can be more than enough to communicate. Videos can be a root of sin.

Im not much of a chatter myself. I dont have facebook. But so many kids come to my internet cafe to rent an hour computer time. 99% of them go right to facebook, and start chatting. Some have told me they dont even know the person they are chatting with some of the time. thats why I dont like so called chats.

Hi friend, i am also in your sort, don't like the video chat as well as phone chatting with unknown online persons. Mylot is the best place to avoid this kind of things, here we can chat with any person without showing our face and have more fun and enjoyment while comparing with fb as well as earn money for our activiites

Haha tell me who you are ! Like you i don't go for video chatting , i even did n't place a camera in the PC. Phone to a very close one might be okay but not for strangers . It is very beautiful thing when you fully can express yourself without any inhibitions and you can only have it when you are not into open with anybody else. Yesh so very true safe here and no hassle but this doesn't mean we are not friendly , yes we are but just privacy is very much considered and cared. Have a good , great Saturday !

Lol I have people like that . Thats why I put her in a group and everytime I come on it shows certain people that im offline =)

You have a choice whether or not you want to do video chat. I just tell everyone NO I don't do it.. They all know this and they all respect me without giving me grief about it. I would just do what you normally have done. Just don't add the video chat to your online stuff. I haven't and won't so far.

I am almost often offline at Facebook chat coz I also didn't feel like chatting all the time lest have a video chat. I guess, you might as well be offline with the chat features of Facebook so you do not have to deal with your sister in law.

Well, my friend, just like you i don't like video chatting. Except for our daughter and family members, i would do a video chat, because they know after all, how i look, even when unmade. 
The video chat would only be thru skype though. As to FB , the chat option is always off.
