What is the wish list?

Although I often buy books and stuff from Amazon, but I have no idea of the wish list yet. How it works? What's the advantage if I write down my wish list there? Can my friends see it and then buy it for me as the gift?

I don't think any of my friends would be able to afford anything on my wish list, mind you some of my wishes even I couldn't afford, unless of course I won the lottery, or indeed one of my friends did. Other wishes I have sadly money just cannot buy, so they will stay wishes. Mind you they do say becareful what you wish for it might come true! I don't tend to buy books any more anyhow, I rather get them from the library, that way it don't cost a dime!

Hi there. A wishlist is a list(lol) of things that you want to receive as a gift. It could also be a list of things that you want to happen in your life. Bu because you have mentioned about gifts, let's focus on that. It doesn't mean that all the things on your wish list will be given by a friend to you. It just help them to know if what are the things that you wish you would have. A friend will just choose one and you'll never know he or she might buy it for you as a present on your birthday or Christmas. I remember my boyfriend last year, he gave me his wishlist and I have chosen atleast two of it and granted the thing that he wishes he could have. He was just so happy. He was not expecting it. I was a good Santa last year. Hopefully this year too.

I prefer that my friends find and read my wish list by themselves rather than I give it to them.
