Becoming Healthy ... Zero Size

The beauty measuring of our life is mostly dependent on one's own bodily shape. Most people who throng to fitness centers are concerned a lot about their level of physical stature and bodily health. The beauties of today's cinema world ..the models in the fashion scenario - all keep their physical status to zero size. Bust, waist, hip - these are to be kept at a fitful and elegant range if at all one has to boast of zero size. Over dieting is often resorted to in maintaining a zero size bodily structure. It is best to select a fitness center which is apt to cater to one's bodily health needs.

We would be so wrong to go through life "measuring" the beauty of another person by the shape and size of their body. I've been blessed to know many beautiful people -- of ALL sizes. Having said that, it is not healthy for many "normal" women (as I assume this discussion is only about women) to aspire to be a size zero. This is seriously underweight in some cases! There is, as you mentioned, huge social pressure via celebrities and the media for women to be smaller than they may naturally be. It is unhealthy and there are women starving themselves and facing eating disorders as they try to attain the unachievable. I agree with you completely that fitness is a key element in overall health and it aids greatly in reaching and maintaining an appropriate weight for one's body shape. However, people can also become addicted to exercise as a means to achieve that size zero. Ultimately, women should focus on their entire person and strive to live in a healthy way. Being healthy -- and beautiful -- for a lifetime does not automatically mean being a size zero.

Who wouldn't want to have an hourglass figure? It is the pride of all women to want to be beautiful. But lets not forget that when women reach certain age they have to be a bit fleshy to look good otherwise they look haggard as they age.

Well, I do think that there is a huge difference between being healthy and having a size zero body. The reason that I feel this way is because of the fact that if you look at the models and such, you will see that those individuals look emaciated and that is clearly not a healthy body image to have. I do think that exercise is very important for each and every one of us and most people don't exercise nearly as often as they should. However, I don't think that the image that we aspire to should be to look just like all of the models and actresses on television.

yes , health is very important for every one , if health is good the shape automatically will be good, as the people who is concerned about health will definitely take care of all these. But i don't think size zero is necessary for health, in fact size zero is not possible for all. yes its better to go for fitness centers for the required ,size zero if its really necessary.

Sport with walking - Walking for heath
Familiarize healthy lifestyles in everyday life much easier than that we've thinking. Many research shows that good health can come from little things that really are not new anymore. Research shows that doing small things on an ongoing basis in the long term will make major changes in a person's physical condition. You do not need to have a variety of fitness equipment or extensive sports fields just to be healthier. There are tens or even hundreds of things little things you can do every day to make you healthier. One simple example of what I do to be healthy in a simple way is to walk for 30 minutes a day is enough to prevent weight gain. If it still feels 30 minutes too long, another study showed that walking briskly for 10 minutes a day will get the same effect as running slowly for 30 minutes.

Here in the US I never heard of a zero size, but when I was much younger the smallest size they sold in any store was 5 and that size was too big for me. Now I can hardly fit into a 10, but I am quite happy with my stature and health. The beauties of the cinema do not trouble me. I am more interested in mental development. I do pay attention to what I eat, but not so much for counting calories as for ensuring that there are sufficient nutrients. It is not so much how much we eat, but what we eat.

I think it is very sad that the goal we have given our women is a 0 size. As a child of course we are made to be small and stick like but as we blossom into women...curves are part of that. We are not supposed to be sticks.

Hi sukumar, over dieting is not advisable. We have to take meals according to our health measures and how our body react for our diet. Many people think they are much obsessed and fat. But it may be because of hereditary or any illness. Take meals in time and suitable food. I feel maintaining zero size is may happy for some days but in long run it gives many bad side effects.

I also want to have a nice figure but I never wanted to be that thin. I think a size zero is only applicable to small framed body. I noticed some models would be really going to the extent of starving themselves just so they can fit such size which is very unhealthy. It is much better really, to consult a physician before undergoing a rigid exercise and eating regimen.

For me, i resort to exercise because i want to keep myself healthy. Unlike those models i want some curves not super slim body. Because for me and my husband it's better to be curvy.

I can't enroll myself in fitness centers or gyms because we don't have any nearby. I live in a far rural area. Besides, I don't know how to fit that in our budget. Anyway, I do regular exercise by brisk walking in our park our just here around. I wish to try zumba but as I said, I live afar so I just find things for my body to ecercise. I do biking too atleast once a week. I have to borrow because I don't onw one. When I was younger, I didn't think of exercising. I think it is corny or I thought that it is just vanity. But as I age, I feel different things in my body. I feel sick or heavy. Being healthy is like being strong and feel light and younger! :)
