I have a prepaid internet stick with Virgin Mobile. I;ve had it since August for when I petsit or other away from home internet needs. Nothing but problems, it didnt work the first 1.5 - 2 months, then finally it worked for a few weeks, then nothing. I paid my fee up to date. I have lost $35.00 x 2 because of it not working. I topped it up on the 17th of last month, and it wouldnt work. I called they said they would fix it then. I tried using it today as I am petsitting, and nothing. So I called again the rep said I didnt have enoug money on my account just $15.00 I need $35.00. Meanwhile I put the $35.00 on the 17th, and he's on the phone saying I didnt put enough on. I just flipped, he was saying I was lying, and just go buy more. Why should I pay another $35.00 on it when it most likely wont work, so I just started yelling at him. I've had enough with this company, and now thinking of just going with a company with a plan (not that they are any better). I went to the store got the $25 came back, and got it put on now the internet is working for the time being. But I am sending head office a nasty message, I've had enough of being J8rked around and wasting even more money for getting no service.

That company seems to have a way with words, they know how to give people the run around . I would be angry also , after paying for something that I dont get would really upset me . I hope they refund you are something in the future because they seems to have little customer care from what you mention .

Exactly, I am wasting my time and money constantly with them. The rep was not helpful and kept saying well just add more money to your account (yet I already did and they are saying I didnt). I will be contacting head office about it, and the lack of service.

Dear Ricki, I don't blame you. If I were you, I would ask for a full refund. My internet service is with Verizon FIOS. Honestly, Verizon FIOS is a much faster and more reliable internet provider. I know how frustrated you must be. I hope everything works out and that you reach a solution that you are satisfied with.

I will be contacting head office about this as it isnt the first issue Ive had to deal with this company. I was looking for an internet stick for while petsitting, and thought prepaid would work out great for me.

Well, I would say that they need to refund you for the money that you've put out for their service that you haven't been able to receive. It is just wrong for a company to do a person the way that you've been done with Virgin Mobile. I think, however, that it might be better to try to get in touch with one of their vice presidents as opposed to writing a letter to their CEO. The reason that I say this is because of the fact that I feel that the letter will just end up on the secretary's desk before being filed in the circular file. However, if you are actually able to talk to someone, there might be some action taken in your favor.

Sorry you are having so many problems with that. Are there others ways or companies for you to try there??

Originally I went with this company as it was pay as you, so you pay for what you want or use. So since I petsit here or there, I wouldnt use it all the time. Well now I've been basically wastig my money away. The other companies you have to sin a contract of 1, 2, or 3 years, so the stick itself would be $299, $199 or $0 depending on the years of contrac t, and you pay x amount each month whether you use it or not.
