The most beautiful thing that ever happened to MTV was Headbanger's Ball. Saturday nights were my night when I was 10-11 years old. I remember them bringing it back like in 04, but it just wasn't the same. What are your thoughts, bangers?

That used to be my favorite show, then grunge showed up and ruined it all. I used to stay home just to watch it but then I started taping it because I wanted to hit the clubs to go dance. I got to enjoy the best of the 80's, heavy metal and dance music. I didn't watch it when it came back in 04, I didn't want to ruin the memories I had of watching Dream Theater's "Pull Me Under" vid and then following the band forever. Plus, the music of today I have a hard time getting into, I love metal but some of it is too much, its not music, its just noise. You sound like your around my age, metal horns to you \m/ \m/

No way! You yanked out Dream Theater's 'Pull Me Under'! How cool is that? I remember i bought that album and that's one of many albums I listened to in junior high! I love some of the metal bands now, indeed, SOME. Only a small handful. Grunge came in, I got hooked on that too, but metal forever, baby! Horns to you too, bro! \m/ \m/

Oh yeah, I remember Headbangers Ball every Sat. night at midnight until the wee hours. I remember when Kevin Seal and Adam Curry were the original VJs! Then, of course, came Riki Rachtman. Back in the good ol' days of '80s hair metal and when MTV was still MUSIC Television. I watched it every weekend.
Ah... but times change. Music evolves. Hair thins. And we're just left with the memories and maybe, an occasional music video.
