I Miss My Ring

I has been more than two months when I shared with you my dear friends that I had to pawn one of my rings as a last resort because I ran out of budget while in another place. That was the time when I was undergoing a field immersion as a part of my training. Since I received my 13th month pay already, I decided to redeem my ring from the pawnshop. My husband and I traveled for more than two hours in order to reach the place. I was so happy to see my ring again which was separated from me for several months. On the other hand, having some jewelries can also be of help in times of needs. I just hope that my ring will never be separated from me again. Have a nice day everyone!

I am so glad that you recovered your ring! I know what is to lose jewelry, but mine was stolen and never came back. I knew then thar our jewelry not only had value in money, but we remember who gave them to us and are very important.

I hope you do, Aries. But just remember that the most important thing is what that ring stood for: the love your husband has for you.

Hi marguicha! Losing something valuable to us could really make us sad especially if it was stolen wherein you can never get it back. My ring was a gift from my husband several years ago that is why it is very important to me. Although I had to pawn it because I just need the money during that time, I really see to it to get it back when I already have enough fund. I hope that I could still buy more rings in the days to come.

Life can be quite harsh sometimes. You were forced by the circumstances to pawn your ring that time. The ring must have been pretty meaningful to you that you miss it that much. I hope it is not your wedding ring though. Perhaps you need to try and reduce your spending. It may help you in extreme circumstances in the future.

I am a very thrifty person. I don't spend on unnecessary things. It's just that I was in the training that time and we have a lot of things to submit as requirements and we need to spend a lot for that. Well, anyway, it's over and I was able to recover already. Thank you for sharing!

I have been in a similar situation many times before, where I had to pawn some of my things to get through something. I now have tried so hard never to go through that again. I just hope that I wouldn't need to. It's hard to say but so far everything is better now. I am happy that you were able to repossess your beloved ring again. Yes, jewelries can really be helpful in times of need. I have known people who would pawn or sell their expensive jewelries during financial troubles and emergencies. It's hard to let go of them but the situation requires sacrifices for the greater good.

Hi choybel! There are really times when we really need to give up something that have in order to move on with our day to day activities. This can include selling or pawning some of our things which are important to us. This was the second time that I pawned the ring and I'm glad I was able to get it back. Thank you for sharing!

Hi maria! I was forced to do that thing that time because I really need it in order to give my share for the preparation of the outputs that is being required of us. Besides, since we have a lot of expenses, I just don't know where to get cash so that was my last resort. I am happy I was able to get it back. Everything is fine now. Thank you for sharing!

I'm glad you were able to get your ring back and that it was able to help you out in your time of need. I had a ring that I was very fond of but unfortunately I was mugged so I doubt I will ever see it again. Hopefully you're never in a situation like that again where you have to part with something so precious to you in order to get by.

Hi Sindelle! It sad to know that the things that are important to us will just be taken away from us. But it is better than if the robber would hurt us. Well, on my part I am happy I was able to redeem my ring because this is very important to me. There are really situation that we just don't have anything or anybody to turn to so having some jewelries can be of big help.

I haven't ever pawned anything. It must have been very sad for you when you took your ring to a pawn shop. It was lucky they didn't sell that ring. I am delighted that your finances improved and you now got your ring back. I hope your ring will never get separated from you again. Good luck.

Hi maximax! Well, hopefully. It really sad if we have to pawn our things because we just don't have anybody or anything to turn to for help. Thank you for sharing!

It is good that you were able to have it back. Others who would pawn their jewelries won't have the money needed to get it back and so they have completely lost something that is valuable to them.

ohh,we indeed feel very sad, when things are kept in pawn shop. But sometimes just cant help it as we have to do so for the need. But all is well, now so you are happy to get your ring back.

I just don't have any choice during that time because there are things that we need to buy in order to finish our required outputs and we already agreed that we are going to share for whatever expenses we might incur. But it's over and everything is back to normal this time. That was part of the training and I understand it.

Hi there! Glad to here that you had your ring back. It's true that jewelries help us in times of need, when we need money, we can pawn them. Jewelries are one of the few things on earth which doesn't depreciate. I also hope that you won't have to pawn your ring again. :) Cheers!!! :)

Hi lizlee! Yes, actually, that is true. I still remember the price of the ring and the amount I have it pawned was actually much higher than the amount my husband paid for it several years ago. I really hope I will not pawn it again. Thank you for sharing!
