Is really true, that no one can ruin your day without your permission. Only you can let anybody to ruin your day and most of the way we give permission to someone ruin our day is with the thinking in our mind of all the happy and bad of them.

I completely agree with that statement. It is similar to a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt that no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Happy people know how to not let others come along and steal their joy.
