After winning the title last season after coming back to win the final game in the dying seconds of the game, City have made a habit of coming back from the dead. In the mid-week they came back from two goals down to nearly win the game in Champions League. And today against Tottenham they came back from being 1-0 down to win the game 2-1 with goals from Kun Aguero and Edin Dzenko. Dzenko would be in a contest with Hernandez of Man United for the best super sub of the year with both scoring important goals from the bench. Cheers! Ram

Yes, but here I am more talking about the number of come backs that Man City has made this season both in EPL and Champions League. Cheers! Ram

As far as I remember it would not be less than 6 or 7 times already in this season, three of which have come in the past two weeks itself. Cheers! Ram

Being comeback king means the team is still not a - Being comeback king means the team is still not a complete team with weaknesses.
It is nice to be able to 'come back' time and time again as it shows the never-give-up spirit and the fight-till-the-last-minute mindset of the team. But it also shows that there are weaknesses in the team. A top team can not let the soft-spots be exploited without doing anything. They can do the 'come back' against some not so strong teams. When they are facing a top team, it may not be that easy to do the same. Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal are still not a complete team if they always find themselves having to come back one time too many.

I think the number of points that Man U and Man City rescue from losing positions this year could be the deciding factor. Cheers! Ram

I wonder why they like to get themselves in this position and it reminds me of Arsenal but just backwards. A few years back Arsenal were cruising to the EPL title and the final 6 games were all complete flops for them and landed up in 3rd.

I think Man City are slow starters and teams are beginning to take advantage and hurt them at the start. Also defensively, they still are a bit dodgy though their midfield and attack usually bails them out. Cheers! Ram

I would still think Man Utd is the comeback king of this season. If I remembered correctly, they trailed nine times in all competition yet they have only lost 3 (2 league and 1 capital cup). Both the Manchester clubs had rescued lost points mainly through their super subs, Hernandez and Dzeko.

There seems to be something in the air of Manchester that makes teams fight till the end. Cheers! Ram
