Have you seen that scary common child hood dream?

Yes, I have those nightmares. But after watching some of those villains in my favorite cartoon series in TV. I had also unintentional peek on some of the movies being watched by my elder brothers. Outgrown it is, I guess it is part of growing up to have those dreams. Thanks

I used to have the same dream every night for years. I would be riding a bike down a straight line and then I would hear wild crazy laughing and the line would crinkle up and I would wreck the bike. This was long before I had a bike or could even ride one! I still remember it and sometimes wonder what caused it but apparently what ever the reason, it's something I don't have a problem with anymore.

No, I've never had a dream like that. I did, and still do, sometimes have dreams of vampires, zombies, and other such creatures, but I don't know if I've ever had a demon dream. Mostly, these types of dreams were not really nightmares. They can get scary, but whenever something in my dream gets too intense, I suddenly have magic powers, mostly flying, so in these dreams I just fly away or I am super good at fighting. I did, however, used to have sleep paralysis hallucinations that would freak me out pretty bad, but once I learned what it was, this experience stopped being scary at all. I've only had a couple of recurring dreams in my life, though neither of them were scary. I can only even remember one of them now.

No I never had that dream. As a kid I only had memories for a long time about red Indians. After that was gone (plus I felt no connection to it) it was (and stayed) gypsies. The only repeating dream(s) I had was about getting blind. Actually it was not about getting/being blind at all. At the moment I woke up I remembered that it was not really blind (like my granny was starting to) but about not being able to open my eyes (felt too heavy). Which is a complete different thing and so is the meaning of that dream. I never dreamed about demons or things like that. Quess if you think/dream in that direction it has to do with the way you are raised as well. I have nothing with demons, devil(s), hell or so ever. So am not scared about it either. I had a "ghost" staying with me for years, all in black, at the end of my bed or if I went somewhere else it was there too. I don't see it anymore and I can only say that I miss that person.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well seeing scary dreams while in childhood is quite common and i too have seen several scary dreams. I remember how once i saw a dream that i have landed in a demon's place and i was chased by many demon's who looked very weird and indifferent. I was running like a crazy and suddenly i saw a well and jumped into it. it was then that i got up screaming and my parents came running to see what happened. It was very much a scary dream and since then i have never seen such dreams. What say?
