Lulu and Dante wanting a baby

Lulu's lies on the adoption application have ruined their chances at adopting a child. So they are left with what I thought they should have been trying to do all along, surrogacy. Of course if they take that route, there will be all kinds of possible problem causing story lines. Most likely the surrogate would be Lulu's good friend Maxie even though she is a wacko in my opinion. So with Maxie as the surrogate, one possible story line is that just after the procedure, the nut job will get Spinelli to sleep with her in an attempt to break up Ellie and Spinelli. Then of course would come the old worn out story line of whose baby is it, Lulu's and Dante's or Maxie's and Spinelli's. This of course could take a long time to play out with all kinds of possibilities. Another possible story line drawing from that scenario is that there would be twins and then are both one couple's or the other's or is one baby one couple's and the other baby the other couple's. All trite and true SOAP story lines.

If you are talking about Lulu, it came out recently that she has a generic condition, I can't remember the medical name, that was described as having a heart shaped uterus and that because of that she would have a miscarriage in the second trimester. I don't know Maxie's history; I was just assuming that she can carry a baby to term because of the story lines that I thought would be possibilities.

You are either a soapy vet or a soapy writer! THose are the main stories they ALWAYS use!!! It was so stupid for Lulu to lie on the application...like the agency in town hadn't hear of the Spencers or the Falconaries/Corinthos etc?
I was thinking too that Maxie might offer to be the surrogate when the two fo them were chatting at the hospital when Lulu came out of the doctors office. And your synoposis could be right...either way! I too am sick of the "whos the daddy" line and baby switching and oh yeah, the new one of twins separated at birth! If they go this way, I'll stop watching if they do another baby trashing story...just let Maxie have the baby, give it to Lulu and move on!!! They have ruined the Maxie character anyway when they had her and Spenilli break up and when they took her out of Crimson (I always thought they should have had her go Editor...replace Kate etc...that'd been so much fun!) but she is just a loose cannon now with no point in the story! And she has already tried the pregnancy trick on Lucky and it didnt' work, so I don't know that the writters would try that again with her..at least if they are decent writers they won't rehash that!
And you forgot one baby storyline...where she has twins and doesn't know it! That happened on OLTL (vicki with Natalie and Jessica and they even had different fathers!) and now on GH Susan Moore and Jason/Franco. So Maxie gives the baby she knows she had to Lulu and later finds out she had another one and goes on a search to find it....Maxie..on a search...that's an oxi-moron!
