I'm so stress this month and It's really hard to be happy and even smile. Everyone around me try to make me happy but still I cant. It's so hard to pretend to be happy if your not feeling that way too. Problems find me and i think stay for a while hope Someday I can smile again and be happy.

Hello Dear Tinetine! First of all warm Welcome to Mylot! This is a common problem which most of us is facing in this competitive World. Stress is a big problem now a days and when we are subjected to stress we can't pretend to be happy in spite of all possible attempts me make to become so. I would like to explain you about this why can't we be happy when stressed out in smile words. In fact our mood or mental status depends on the hormones secreted in our body. So we have different set of hormones when we are happy and similarly we have another set of hormones when we are stressed out. Both these hormones are antagonistic in nature, so in the case of stressed condition the body is under the influence of the hormones causing stress and during this time you can never be happy, even though you may pretend to do so. But then during this time if some thing positive happens because of which your body hormones' balance shifts from stressed ones' to the happy ones then you may feel better and happy. Thus it is basically the hormones of your body which are responsible for these moods and you need to train your self to maintain a balance between the two, as these hormones are always there in the body and all you have to do is maintain the balance in your body. With the experience we gain in our life we learn how to attain this balance and we may learn to cope up the process of stress. By meditating and practicing Yoga we can attain to maintain the balance of these hormones over a period of time! Wish you all the best and hopefully you will learn the technique of keeping your hormones balanced very soon by either meditation or Yoga. Thanks a lot for the response, I liked participating in it!

it is so so deep meaning that it all went above my head,.,.. i am sorry but i feel it is about how you want to and it is all in your hands to be happy or not to be happy. some people take tension for no reason. they have a habit of exaggerating problems and thus bringing them in the state of stress and depression. there is no need for all this. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead..

I have a lot of pressure too. Some from work: the boss need you to earn more money for him, some from family: parents pushed me to have a baby, which seem really difficult for me. I find one way to relax: doing housework, some cooking, some cleaning, some washing and so on... When you see your achievement: delicious food, clean table and clothes, this really make me feel happier and forget the annoying problems.. Hope we both can be happy every day!

The same story of "good days and bad days", when there is day, there would be night. The fact that you're having a bad day really would tend to make you depressed, and finding ways to sort of counteract that is quite elusive. One thing that i usually do is trying quite hard to snap out of the negativity and keep myself occupied with things, i.e. watching a feel good movie or comedy.

It doesn't work for me. Even I watch comedy I don't forget or even smile. I have a hard time in dealing with my problems..

All of us have problems. The only difference is some would rather think of things on how to solve the problem and move on than sulk and keep on thinking of the problem without really striving to know of how to get out of it. Do not think too much. It is unhealthy. It is impossible to solve a problem instantly. most especially if it something really big. Just have a strong faith that everything will turn out good in due time.

You can't really say you are happy when you are stressed. Unless you will be out of stress that's the time you will say, Oh I'm happy now, the stress is gone. SO to be happy, avoid those stressful things.

it is good that people around you want to make you smile because they are the people who care about you. it is very hard to find such caring people. don't take your problems hinder your happiness.. problems come and go so take it lightly and smile. it is easy and not very hard, you just have to try and let go of the problems in life. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead..
