I general what do you call and ipad or smart phone??

okay now i am not been silly but just some asked me today and i was like what? hahah
My neighbor wanted to see someone's picture on facebook and she wanted to use our computer and i said for her to come. she came and we were searching a person profile but could not find, she said that a lady came home yesterday and showed that persons picture on the some things which she could not describe perhaps had forgotten the name of the device..hahaha 
..so i asked her if it was a phone and she said no, i said camera and she said no.. then i said ipad or something and she said yes.. i said ipad is phone as well. but she said it is not phone but is it ipad.. Now i have got some confusion here with names of devices. can you guys clarify this to me. yeah i can be dumb sometimes. please help me here.

It's called a tablet. An iPad can't possibly be called a phone because not all iPad has mobile service.

IT people can explain it very well ! I am planning to have one ipad not from my own pocket but from the earnings of Mylot. Is it possible ? While there is life there is hope.

Hi!
It could be an iphone, which she might have seen. Now a days latest version of ipone 5 is available which has a phone and a larger screen.
ipad are now things of the past, but theoretically it could have been an ipad also.

The so called smart phones with multiple touch screens are very popular with guys here, the face book etc are pre-loaded
i have one but i really don't like it, hehe, i use my Nokia only.

haha, what a neighbor.At last you got confused about the whole thing hehe now see, iPhone is a line of smartphones designed and marketed by Apple. IPad is a line of tablet computers designed and marketed by Apple. This is in short to understand. i hope you can make by this, come on you are not so dumb. Otherwise i have to explain the whole thing about smartphones and all.
