..is watching barbie movie weird?

My 6 year old niece ask me to download barbie movies on her ipad and she told me that i should watch first or rather read reviews if it's good (wth, she's so demanding) but still i did what she asked me to. Since I am not familiar with the apple os and she is always using her ipad i download the movie on my laptop, after downloading I watched it to make sure it will pass on her taste (what a brat kid!). I enjoyed watching it and i get addicted, together with my 15 year old niece. I told this to my boyfriend that were watching barbie and he told me I'm weird im too old to watch such kind of movie. Is it weird I haven't watched any barbie movie when I was a kid.

I don't think it's weird. I mean, I still watch cartoon films like classic Disney movies and fairytales, because I'm a sentimental and romantic child in heart, even though I'm 23... but I do think there are people who still have their inner child, and that's good... it doesn't make them crazy or immature, just child-like (not childish).
Btw your niece seems really spoiled and demanding. Is she that lazy to ask for a family member to watch the movie first so they can choose? Or does she think the world revolved around her?...

I do love watching Disney movies too I even watch Disney Channel with my niece. She's just a spoiled brat kid and since her parents are too busy she's always with me. She's a lil bit rebellious too with her parents having no time for her.

My sister is 23 and loves everything barbie.. I dont think its wierd at all. Hope you enjoyed the movie.

I'm not alone loving this barbie thing...Yeah I really enjoyed the movie..It's 7 or 8 movies I watched.

I do not think it is weird. :) There is no rule that says you have to be a certain age to watch and enjoy an animated movie. Even though Barbie movies are targeting the kids demographic, it does not mean that adults can't enjoy it as well. :)

I agree with you Melanie. I don't know why he think it's weird I enjoyed watching movies except for the horror ones. :)
