How do I get this started?

I've been reading a lot about bloggers making money. I can talk and type for hours on end and think this could be something profitable for me. I checked out a few blogging sites and still don't get it. Do you have to have a Domain and doesn't that cost money? How do you get paid and who pays you? Can you have any money earned go into your Paypal account? How does a blogger get paid by how many people read the blog or what? I would love to hear from bloggers about all this.

No, you don't need to have your own domain. I have been following this blogger for more than a year, and she's just using her blogger account. I don't know because with her earnings, I'm sure she can afford to maintain one under her own domain. but she preferred her blogger account. This blogger is really inspiring because her blog just started as her personal online diary, it became popular because I think she's unique. She's a mom blogger, and her blog started when she needed a bed rest due to her pregnancy, to combat boredom she started blogging and the rest is history. She's always included in the top ten blogs. I have a blog too but I don't have plans to monetize it. It's just my hobby and blogging keeps me sane.

Her blog sounds very interesting. Nothing interesting ever happens in my life so that would leave that out. It would be very boring to read

You don't really need to share your own experiences there, you can share someone else's, just ask them if it's okay to. You can write about other stuff too that you think might others find interesting. Blogging is not just all about personal experiences, it could be anything.
