Bhebe, you are really a very creative person. Every year i am sending out different types of greeting cards to different friends and relatives. Because i have friends and relatives who are celebrating different types of festivals. Since i am not creative and don't really know how to personalized greeting cards, i prefer to buy them from the bookstore. Sometimes, i even send e-cards to some of my friends and relatives when i don't have the time to send them greeting cards.

I only send e cards to the friends who are far from me. As for the rest, I make jams and jellies and several diferent preserves they like. Last year I was in charge of taking a lot of cupcakes to my daughter`s house where we celebrated Christmas. There were several families together so the amount of food was huge.

Like you, before when I was still working I used to buy ready made cards, then put some dedications, sealed and send it right away which more easy and more convenient. But now my husband wants something new, as much as possible he wants handmade and has a different designs per person, quite tiring but i am having fun and the feeling was great when i saw the finish products.

Yes, making Cards is more personable if you have the time to do so. I know my Sister a lot of times makes hers, and they do have more meaning to them. I have made Cards before in many different types, and wish I had the time to do so.

I think it is so sweet of you. They will surely appreciate your gift since you are putting your heart, effort and time on it. I can't remember the last time that I've received an actual card, I've been receiving e-cards for a long time now. Well, I am not complaining since it is the thought that counts but getting a personalized one would be amazing :)

I usually make cards for christmas, but I have not been well enough to do that this year and I can not really seem to get in the mood to do them either, so it is shops ones only this year. I think that it is great to get a card from a person that has had that extra thought gone into it and that is why I prefer to get a hand made one off friends.
