hi guys, for good signal for internet i had to sit by the window and hang the modem via extension cord. Now I have noticed that in the house anywhere the signal is quiet good. it never used to be this way. I had to to sit at the table and could not move the laptop. I am so happy to have the signal inside the house. what a relief, I can even lie on the bed and mylot. .. it is become so good from yesterday. i am glad that the service for the internet is getting better. I hope the same happens for the phone. to talk we on the phone we have to get out of the house and talk. it is like everyone getting out of the house and talk..it is very funny because there are people on the road talking on the phone. have you experienced something like this with your internet connection?? I mean those in the suburbs or country side, have you experienced this? Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead

Well, I think your house is a concrete one...well, we don't usually experiences those things because our house is just made of wood so that is why, cellphone signals including my internet connection which is via usb wireless stick has no problem at all.

aabuda you are right. In India our houses are made of concrete. that may be the reason why we do not get signal inside the house where in your case --wooden houses and you do get wireless internet signals or cell phone signals. Regarding cell phone the signal will be good in one room of the house and there will be no/less signal in another room. I normally use to stand in the balcony and talk loudly --all passerby can understand fully if they stand for a minute and listen. good day.

i live in a house which is like more than 100 years old and it is made up of mud which has very thick walls. it has the height of a double story house but is single. it has a roof of tiles, i mean mud tiles. actually all houses here has the similar roofing. the new houses are not made of mud but it is stone as they say it here. I think it is because of there is no tower on the island for anything so that is why it is hard to find range, don't you think so? Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead

riyauro Madam: which connection have you taken? -- is it wireless? which company? Yes. when I used reliance datacard I use to have problem in getting signal inside the house. also when i had been to Pondy there was no signal also. Now inside our house we have airtel internet connection -- fitted with wireless modem. no problem at all. we get 4 mbps speed unlimited.

hi Riya, we don't have any such problem as we live in the city. some of my friends who live near the mountains ,they face this signal problems. I think now a days everything is set we can find many signal towers here. But when i go to my grandparents house i face the signal problem,as they live in the countryside.

good for you that the internet connection you used is becoming more better and efficient which give you the most comfortable position as you can lie in the bed while doing your online activities. well, ours here is only 100 mbps but the connection is quiet good. most of the time i am in my room when getting online. it is better this way because whatever position you would like to do will be your choice to stay comfortable. so thanks for this :0)

Hi! You are indeed lucky that you have started getting better signals for your internet and you could afford to use your laptop in any corner of your house. By the way which service provider's internet services you have been using? You are right that mobile connectivity many a times gets very poor and voice is not audible inside the house and one needs to stand in the balcony of on the roof to continue the conversation. I also wish that mobile service providers should boost their signals and install more towers for better connectivity.

Good thing my connection is good. I only had problem with my connection once the server (the network) had problem with the tower. Even if it is raining, or bad weather like storm and typhoon- I don't lost connection. (unless my network antennae will be blown- which never happens- hahahaa)

I experienced it for some any times now, that's why I'm planning to upgrade to have it enhanced more, the coverage, with the kind of work I have. Though I live in the city with so much concrete things around me. I see to it that I have open windows if I'm using the wireless connection. Planning to have it on cable soon. Thanks

Hi riyauro, my case seems exactly opposite from you. Normally the connection within the house is stronger compare to being outside of the house. And it depends where do you put your modem. If you are nearer to the modem, your signal received would be strongest and most stable. The further you are, the poorer the connection will be. Like my case, my modem is located in the master bedroom, facing the front. And if i were to connect to the internet line in the guest room located downstairs towards the back of the house, my connection surely would become slower and poorer. This is because the signal could be blocked by the separation of the brick wall. So, it depends. =) Have a nice day.
