is killing nowadays is just so easy to do as been reported on tv?

even the media reported killing people sensationally, still killing is killing and it can be considered as a heinous crime throughout the history. but why people used to do such thing so easy? as if the suspect is just butchering a chicken or a pig. on a tv screen, the suspect looks so pitiful but of course, you feel disgusted and hatred why commit such crime so easily. do you believe that when a person is being enraged with outrageous anger, he/she cannot think of better things and out of mind that is why can do killing. but there are other kinds of revenge aside from that, seems out of this world idea but truly happening like paying or hiring a man to do it. how does it relate to anguish of the revenger or of the avenger.
create this discussion because i pitied one model friend who was being killed and the concerning agency would like to find out if that girl was being raped first before being shoot by a gun. poor lady for the stopping of her breath means discontinuing the life she dreamed to have it beautifully and successfully.
so people around the world, how can you relate with this story in your country or in your place. what are your wishes to stop this kind of crime. share it please, thanks!

Because there is violence everywhere, movies, games, TV, you can't avoid it. People become desensitized to it, children in particular. By the time a child has reached the age of 10 how many murders do you think he/she has heard about, read about, killed someone himself in a game or knew someone who was killed? As bad as it sounds, it's become part of everyday life. As long as Hollywood churns it out people will watch. Who do kids have for role models these days? There aren't many. And then when there is someone who appears to be a good role model, sooner or later their skeletons come tumbling out of the closet and you realize they might be worse than some of the bad guys. And does anybody really care? Those who do seem powerless to prevent it and the ones who are in a position to do something don't. Kids aren't taught to control their tempers. Anger management is a big problem these days. Many schools now have mediation instruction to teach students how to deal with aggressive behavior on the part of others but it's not enough. The list goes on. I'm sure other mylotters have plenty of other reasons to name for the rise in murders in today's world.

You are right. I don't believe there is enough parental control. And superstition or not, you mother had the right idea. And I think she did a good job. Look at you!
She knew how to raise a child. And yes, the devil is everywhere. We are surrounded by temptations and children/young adults find some of these too hard to resist. I think a lot depends on what goes on in the home. But I also understand that trying to raise a child in a bad neighborhood is very difficult. Kids become victims of their environment because it's easier - in the short term - to go along with the evil elements than to resist. Children have to go out into this type of situation every day. It's too bad.

It is sad for parents when they have truly done their best but their child has fallen victim to the influences of crime and breaks the law and brings grief to their families. These parents become heartbroken. Often good parents blame themselves and feel guilty. It is not them who have failed but the system. Failure to provide decent neighborhoods for children to grow in and to provide enough police protection or advocacy groups to help and protect these kids from their environment.

you are right, it is really hared to resist evils. plus guarding your child always because sometimes even parents do the disciplining, there were times that the hold is not of the parents because child also as they grow they have their own choices. how many parents wanted the best of their child and then being failed. how painful would it be for them to see their child suffering as the consequences of their bad activities. oh gosh :(

I think there's more to it.
-there aren't necessarily significantly more murders, but now we're presented all of them (happening locally, of course) on the Internet, on TV
-people losing virtues - that makes people bring up their kids in a not so perfect way, they don't teach the kids how to deal with anger... moreover, sometimes the family background mskes people kill
-violent stuff in media, cult of violence etc.

as i am afraid so. these all maybe happened because media has a great influence to it. movies, news etc with violent content as if killing is the best remedy in solving a problem or to get rid of that person or whatsoever. another factor too which i agreed as you mentioned it is the bringing of the parent to a child. it is all about disciplining and educating your child. if the parents have misunderstanding, consider the fragility of the child, maybe this incident will be absorbed emotionally and this will cause a problem to his/her mental and emotional aspect in life that will be brought till he grows up so and so. so the parents must be responsible to it

I've read and commented on a post about this this afternoon. Yeah, I hope these killers will go to jail and spend their lifetime there. According to the post, they wanted to teach her a lesson. So why did they rape and kill her if they only wanted to teach her a lesson? The suspects are also her friends. May her soul rests in peace. Killing people is really serious crime. They should pay for what they've done. God will punish them. They should start praying now. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

oh yeah, a joke that became serious, what is that? how can a friend ever did that to her bestfriend. what kind of thinking is that. that is why, we need to choose a person whom we can trust or at least guard ourselves from this kind of personality, i guess we can sense it for they come to have bondings at most of the time. a lesson for all of us as well. that when we used to know a person with bad abilities, we should learn how to say no or put some limits so that staying away from them would be as easy to deal with

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right, even i am shattered by the every day news of people killing other people. In fact i get devastated when i see that some people have killed their own kins and family members. I feel like as if these guys are not humans but animals in disguise. I think what is giving such people an opportunity to slain others is the laxity in our laws. Had our laws been very strict and awarded capital punishment to the ones resorting to such heinous crimes then i am sure such things would have never happened.

hello, it is me who should thank you for responding. oh yes! very traumatic event when one kin killed his/her relative. such an evil work and i do not know what kind of virtue a man do have or what is his/her concepts in life why wasted blood. it is pure revenge or being envious. whatever would be the reasons behind, we do not have the right to take the life of others by killing.
