No. don't install 2 anti-virus system in your computer. It can slow down your computer and you'll just regret with it in the end. :)

From what I know you can't but maybe there's a way to install two antivirus in your computer. But in my opinion you don't need to have 2 antivirus, what you need is the best antivirus and an updated one too. I' actually using AVG and I just update it time to time. Take note too that two antivirus working together will really slow down your PC or much worst will result to a blue screen. :)

From the word itself it's a blue screen. Actually it will happen if there is something wrong with your processor (I'm not sure with this) or your motherboard. It will appear if your pc cant take the too much lag. It's not all blue screen that will appear in your screen, it's a combination of letters numbers and a blue screen background.

You may have more than one Antivirus program installed on a computer but only one at a time should be active in order to avoid contention issues which could seriously slow down your computer and even cause it to hang, resulting in a possible loss of data. When an antivirus program checks for viruses, it reserves the file (or data stream) it is checking at that moment solely for its own use. Until it releases it, that file or data stream cannot be used by another program. If two separate processes try to access or reserve the same data at the same time with the same priority, it can cause a contention which can sometimes never be resolved and the computer will hang. Only a reboot could then resolve the issue and any data which was being stored at the time might be irretrievably lost.

Simply go to the main screen of the one you want to stop from scanning and choose the appropriate menu option. If you find that difficult, go to Control Panel/Add and Remove Programs and uninstall the one you don't want.

Please don't do that. One antivirus prevents the other from installing. Furthermore one antivirus already slows down the pc.. can't imagine how two of them, working simultanously will be like!? What you can do however is install a decent antivirus, for example the free version of avast, and then back this up with a nice firewall, like comodo security's firewall, which is also free as far as I know.

a computer can handle one antivirus either avira or avast company. however, one cannot install 2 anti virus into 1 computer . it will crash but you can install optional like spyware and malware type of antivirus which does effectively remove virus and do not disturb anti virus... optional firewall rather than built-in firewall also appropriate option to install

installing 2 anti-virus makes your computer slow dramatically specially when they scan at the same time with scheduler.

Instead of using 2 anti-viruses at the same time why not pick the best anti-virus available in the market.

Don't install more than one. Had an experience once. My pc logged in and stood STILL! (Not Recommended).
