Is it good celebrate Islamic new year with set in a blaze a firework? I think in Islamic new year we should stare at what we done in last year then we hope in this year our faith can better than last year. What about you?

Hi, Happy New Year to all Islamic people!
I honestly do not know what your religion teaches regarding New Year but it would be advisable to observe something based on faith.
Out of curiosity, when does Islamic New Year begins? Is it based on a separate calendar? or based on first full moon? Please advise. Thanks.

Celebrating new year and using fireworks etc. are all un-Islamic traditions.
Islam teaches to remember Allah at every occasion and to be good to others. We should start new year with a hope for better faith and improved following of the prophet Muhammad teachings and life.

Happy Islamic new year for you too Samar. I think you're right. We shouldn't set in a blaze a firework to celebrate islamic new year. We should follow what teached by Qur'an and Hadist. But, it's became wrong tradition in my country when we celebrate important moment like Eid Mubarak or islamic new year with set in a blaze a firework. I didn't know when it began and my government always gives warning to don't set in a blaze a firework, but it didn't hear by some people. Yes, i hope Syria's conflict and Myanmar's conflict can be finnish with peace way
