Are all Democrats Crooks?

Remember during the Campaign the comments made by a couple of Republican Senate Candidates were held and reported by the news as proof of a negative attitude toward women. Now it is coming out the Rep Jessie Jackson Jr, who is recovering at the Mayo Clinic from "personal issues", is reportedly being offered a plea deal which will include resigning from congress, paying back his campaign and jail time for "inappropriate use of campaign funds". By the way he was re elected by a vote of 89% for him in his Chicago district. He was also implicated in the selling of President Obama's Senate Seat scandal.
I am not saying that all Democrats or even some are crooks because of this or that this is the leaning of the Democrat Party, but I point this out because it is being reported all too often that the whole Republican Party is reflected in the actions of one person and the members of the party have to renounce that person or be painted as the same type of person by the media. Where is the denouncement of Rep Jackson by House Minority Leader Pelosi, Senate Leader Reid, President Obama is their silence agreement with what Rep Jackson and the approve of it?

The difference between democrats and republicans is that democrats publicly recognize and chastise when a colleague has done something wrong. The reason republicans are known for hating women is because they have not made any remarks reprimanding what the really outspoken wingnuts have done and said. They merely say, "well, I wouldn't have worded it that way", and never come out against what that person said. Thou shalt never talk poorly about a republican is the republican motto, no matter how low the party sinks.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be rude.. especially as I've had it with talking politics.. but I think the difference is the coverage by the media..

There is definitely a problem with the media coverage. It took nearly two weeks for the MSM to even start to cover the Anthony Weiner scandal, even though it was being discussed on conservative websites, Breitbart and all over Twitter. Eventually, CNN got a bit miffed when Weiner dissed one of their reporters and they decided to pursue the story.
But I would point to the OP and the points made about Jesse Jackson Jr and the lack of rebuke from Democrats. In fact, if I could think of any instances where Democrats have not tried to cover the shame of their colleagues, I am sure I could count them on one hand. I just can't think of any. The initial response is always to cover up or refuse to comment.

I noticed during this election that the democrates would ALWAYS slam the Republicans for ANY and ALL inappropriate notions, comments or wording. However...when the Dems would do the talking..the Republicans didn't do it back often and when they did..it was a one/two time thing and then they moved on...Dems would bleed it dry and to total annoyance
And sad thing was..that was what this election centered on...not the topics, not the plan for the future...but the Dems seemed to just hit the Reps...no matter what they said. Not favoring the Reps...but this was just my non-partial opinion of all the crap slung around...Dems slung more than Reps.

What I wondered on BOTH sides was..they had millions and millions and millions "donated" to the campaigns...where'd all that come from? I thought there were limits to what people or companies could contribute. So where'd that ton of money come from?

Benghazi-gate is beginning to sound a whole lot like Watergate. Down to the roles of Nixon's supporters and campaign staffers.
YET, while we know that the press played a very necessary role in bringing Watergate to light, the press (MSM) is seeming to play the opposite role for Obama in that they are actively withholding info from the public and reporting in such a way as to make him look innocent of any wrong doing.

Yes Jackson Jr has amazed me. 89% re-election. wow. are they so hard up for candidates? It's crazy, and I, like you , have not heard anything from the democrat leadership about it.

I couldn't point to one "side" to say it's worse in terms of scandals, stupid things said, stupid things done, pocketing money, playing favors and paying for favors, etc.
It seems pretty clear, however, that most news sources in the mainstream focus in only on Republicans and repeatedly remind everyone that a complete moron saying something about rape being the will of the gods is something that is a Republican issue across the board and not that of the idiot who believes it.
It's much more likely to become a big story if it's someone with an R. If it's someone with a D, it's going to be contested as it's presented, with a few right-leaning outlets reporting the story, and the rest of the left-leaning outlets claiming it's not true or that it's a distraction or that the other side is worse.
And since most people in America seem as if they couldn't care less about it, I'm caring less and less about it.
If folks want to give a crook 89% of the vote, good on 'em. If media wants to bite their tongues on stories that might reflect poorly on a candidate they support, have at it.

Pretty much if you're a politician, you're a crook. Democrat or Republican. Don't let either side fool you.
