I have a fine straight hair. I'm happy of what I have. Luckily, I don't need hairsprays to make it stay, it's better off without any hair products after shower. Few year back, I have tried giving it a curl and it looks okay, but I still prefer straight hair. I think it looks simple and better for me. How about you? Are you satisfied with your hair?

I also have straight hair. I haven't tried straightening or curling it. I only dyed my hair two or a year ago. It's been a long time already since I last dyed my hair. I am afraid to have it treated because it might need to be treated regularly already. My hair is fine with me. I'll just have different styles of haircut.

Yes, so far I don't have any plan to ruin my hair. LOL. It still looks fine to me. Thanks for the comment.

Having straight hair is great. I, too, have straight hair. If you're fine with it, don't dare try to have it treated. You might get used to treating it and sometimes you couldn't stop yourself, but continue to feel insecure if you haven't. Although some people prefer to try other styles, that's why. :P

your hair is your crowning glory. because of the hair, a girl or a boy looking gooder at it. some have curly and some have straight hair. lucky you have it straight and so as mine too. well, have plans to curl it for a change. done curling my hair few years back and maybe this graduation will have that kind of style again.

haha Yeah. Trying a new look isn't bad. See what style fits yourself. I guess I'm lucky to have straight hair. Otherwise, I might have a problem on how I'm going to manage it. Have a good day on your graduation! =)

I also think it is not bad to have new style and to change the look. Now a days some computer software gives your photo new hair look through it.

I never get satisfied with my hair as what is it:( and I wish I was been satisfied. I had my hair colored twice a month with different color when I was in Japan and I am addicted to some semi permanent stunning colors which made my hair dry. I also have fine straight long hair but due to unsatisfaction I permed my hair and bleached em again and after few months straight em again and changed color and made my hair even coarse and dry and thin I wish I was satisfied then so I won't be having problem of looking some hair thickening or hair repair products

Hey there! So sorry to hear that. In my part, there are times that I wanted to try some new stuff in my hair. However, I got scared every time thinking it might destroy my hair. There were only two things I tried, curl and dye. I realized that when we dye our hair, it will just take a few months or so then there comes out the original color again. Then here we go dying it once more. That scares me bigtime because we're speaking of chemicals here. Anyway, I have an idea on how you could bring back your old hair. Leave it for a couple of hair and just give it a trim if you think it's needed. I'm sure sooner or later new hair will come out and get back to normal.

I agree with what you've just said and it's really hard to get stuff to have your hair back to what it was before, but now I think I am using the right shampoo that work best for my hair and if I would like to color my hair probably going to use some semi permanent just avoid bleaching solution since this product makes our hair thin when it's use for coloring

Right. Thanks for the advice! I'm never going to use bleaching solution. My boyfriend once used that and he said it was okay for him. I knew that his hair is way too thick and for him it's fine to use one, but not for me. My hair is just too thin that even when I use deep moisturizing shampoo, my hair will look like I just put on moisturizer .lol

Hello! Since I was young, I also have had long and straight hair.. But it was a fantasy for me to have curly long hair.. I think princesses have curly than straight hairs! lol I have tried it 3 yrs ago..I had a family friend do it for me.. I was sitting there for 4 hours.. But after removing curls, untied the bands.. So sad it did not turn out that way I was daydreaming it! The whole time I was seating, imagining it's going to be pretty big curls.. :( Found out that the curler chemical was already expired.. So I only had slight curls.. They were ok pretty for the 1st week, but the next week they look like mess already.. I had a hair cut then.. Well I still dream of being curly, may try it next time and for sure it's going to be successful! haha :D

You had me smiling! haha :) Good luck for next time! Yes, actually you have to know your hair like how thick or thin it is. Then that's where you start planning what curl looks good on you. Of course, we all have this ideal hairstyle. I guess all we have to do is search for the one that really suits us. Oh well, good luck and thanks for sharing your story :)

My hair is naturaly wavy and thick. I haven't really taken good care of my hair before. I hated my hair and I envied those girls who have silky straight hair. When I'm already working I had my hair rebonded. I got silky straight hair. When my grew longer I had too get my hair rebonded again after a year. Now the grand of my hair is very thin and it's so weak, it breaks easily. I get a lot of fallen hairs when I comb after shower. Now I don't comb my hair when its wet to prevent hair fall. Now I wanted to have my wavy hair back I curl my hair using my straightening iron. I really wished I didn't had it rebonded. Natural hair is always best.

Hi there! I think you just need to wait for awhile for your hair to grow back. I'm sure it wouldn't take long. It will grow back to wavy and thick. I myself have very thin straight strands. Yes, I can't deny I'm happy with it and I don't have a hard time in dealing with it everyday. However, I have also thought that when we get old someday, it will begin to come off. LOL. We'll all get there and no one's exempted. It means my thin hair would be thinner or weaker, while people with thick hair like you will look fine. You know what I mean? haha. I always have this thought running in my head everytime.

I have not tried curling or straightening the hair. I think I am happy with my hair. I think it differ from people to people about the hair style like one style suites one person and another suites another.

Yeah, you're right. Some people with straight hair wants it curled and some people with curly hair wants to try straightening it. I guess they just wanted to try a new look if how it feels like.

I am a Chinese, so I have straight hair. I like my straight hair. But long time ago due to the curiosity, I tried to make my hair curl. Although others said it was nice. But I didn't get used to it at all. I even felt I looked maturer after that. Besides, it is much more difficult to deal with curl hair. After that, I just prefer to keep my straight hair.

I think I can relate to you so well. I also have straight hair and used to try curling it once, as well. It didn't work for me and I don't like it that much so I also decided to leave it as it is -- straight. lol. We have the same story!

I've got a slightly wavy hair when it becomes real long. I like it wearing long for the last 20 years, although I did have short hair in between those times. I feel I look better with longer hair, though. I have tried curling it when I was in college. But my boyfriend (my husband now) kept on teasing me. And so I had it straightened after 3 weeks of perming. It had sort of damaged my hair for a few months. But glad that it was all in the past.

i have wavy hair and my hair has been subjected to a couple of straightening procedures in some parlors. I have tried curling it from time to time but i still prefer it straight. Last week, i had Japanese straight done on my hair and the results were satisfying!

I have naturally wavy hair. Sometimes when it is behaving, I love it and I look even more beautiful, haha! I have long hair, it's about way past my armpits. But I also suffer from bad hair days and I just usually put it up either in a loose bun or a pony tail. I also try my best not to use too much hair products to avoid damaging my hair and heavying it down with hair products' residue. I made a mistake of rebonding my hair because II thought to sport a new look: razor straight hair. It looked good on me but I soon got tired of it. It left my hair so dry and frizzy. Now I am trying to rehabilitate my hair by using serum and hair proteins once in a while. Thank goodness, I was able to bring it back to its old state.

That's good to hear! I'm glad you're able to manage your hair as you want it. Yeah, that's normal. We all have good hair days and bad hair days. LOL. Most of the time I study each shampoo whether it makes my hair oily or dry. Currently, I have two shampoos, using one shampoo every other day. I realized that when I use each shampoo two days or more, it will make my hair either too oily or too dry. So I thought it's a good idea to switch each one every other day. Thanks for sharing your hair story!

Im the exact opposite of you i have a kinky curly hair, i must confess i really saved money just to have my hair straighten.I do go to parlor to have it once a year its so costly i have done it almost 15yrs or more ever since i was a teenager now that im 37 still undergoing to hair straight. I do have experienced my hair got so brittle that i should stop it for 2yrs so since that year i told myself hmm since my hair is so kinky curly why should i try enhancing my curly more like a telephone curl, i had a great looks in curly long hair as long as shoulder length i just decide to straight it again cos i have a very hard time to fix my curly hair and most people notices that i look more younger in straight hair.
