Ok, here is my point why he is both... He is a game changer and a trapo because, He act like a dictator and yet the people see otherwise. His propagandist is very successful in his image building and make the poor nation believe their president is the best we ever have and all his action against former president is done for the good of the country and masked his personal vendetta with the former president and thus successfully pulling up two objectives with one stone. He forcefully made the former Ombudsman head to resign by blackmailing her and cut short her term. He has change the way politics are played here by jailing GMA, his predecessor and successfully impeached the chief justice of the Supreme court in a blitz fashion. Sen. Arroyo said Corona's impeachment showed Aquino's genius. "The net effect of this would be that President Aquino would achieve being an autocrat this time by stroke of genius. The President will be able to control the entire government without having to declare martial law." See for yourself the line up of the Liberal senatorial candidates, what did you notice? A young Aquino on the line up. The next generation of Aquino-Cojuanco dynasty. A total disregard of constitutional provision on political dynasties. And with the consent of Pnoy of course Bam is on his way to Congress for sure. He eludes and distance himself from FOI and anti dynasty bill because it is against the political agenda of his family and friends. He is not only a trapo but an expensive rug that hides all dust and dirt under the magical carpet of lies. All I can see are lip services that he is pro poor and for political reforms but his action proves otherwise. He parades his economic success and never thanks the last administration for her credits of laying all the economic foundations he now enjoys. And after three years he still blames her for everything and up to this time have proven nothing! This shows his angers toward her is not political but personal. He has all the chances to be a great president (hope he realize this) and I hope he can be a positive game changer and not a destructive one. His success is our nation's success. Wish he succeed! I am not against him nor a fan of his. This is my humble personal observation of his actions.

it would be nonsensical to say that there's no change. i am not a pnoy fan but i can feel that he is sincere in creating change although there would be many hindrances and i know that he knows that. as to the question, he's a little trapo, too, protecting his friends. these so called friends could really put him into trouble.

Maybe he is just trying to protect them for he have trust on those particular people. It is pretty hard to look for trustworthy people that will surely help in the Philippine's progress.

I don't like him. His goals are just concentrated in one thing and that is to blame the previous president and all her cronies by the way you didn't answer your own discussionhow do you see Pnoy?

That's a good start Just post your opinion, no one will persecute you on saying those things here. They may react positively or negatively in your opinion. Take advantage of it because you can share opinions and ideas on why and how we think this and that way.

wuzzup feb!? to answer my discussion... this is a personal opinion, no offense meant to anyone (disclaimer) I think his just another trapo. the only reason some people don't see it that way is because his really popular and people are disillusioned with the Ninoy, Cory magic. Some see him as infallible and believe him to be the basis and standard of what is straight and good and those who he say who are against him are evil and corrupt. the reason why i think he is also trapo is one, he allies himself with trapo's, two, it is evident that there are personal interests behind some of his actions, third, just like any other presidents, he has placed his friends on high key positions in the government. and finally what I hate most in his tactics is that he takes all filipino's for a fool. I mean there are numerous instances where he as the president of the republic, went out of his way to bend, and even break the laws of the land just to get what he wants. I don't want to discuss whether his cause was justly or not, bottom line is, I believe that the end does not justify the means. laws are made to be followed, not to be broken, it is made to be followed, and does not exempt anyone regardless of status.

He is good, but obviously he cannot lift poverty and corruption in just one term.. its a process.. he cannot do it overnight... I will give him 100% thumbs up when he made changes in government agency's policy specially in government expenditures, cutting off excessive and unnecessary expenses of government agencies, cutting off number of employees, and most of all the new policy of requiring government agencies to use official credit card in the purchase of supplies for proper recording of every transactions and to discourage government officials in committing corruptions. We shouldn't expect to much to PNOY he is good but he has its own limitation just like us as human being , he is not perfect he cannot cater wants of everyone, that is enough that at least he has so much courage, effort and willingness to lift us from mess, for us to have a progressive place to live in, and has someone to remind us that WE are PINOY and WE have innate talent than others... We cannot blame him solely with our poverty .. sometimes it is us .. we should spread our wings and try to discover what else can we do to improve our life...it's self imposition... : )

I totally agree with you! the problem is not only the government or its leaders, it is the society itself. Philippines, sadly, is on the verge of social decay, apathy, greed, lust, name it, its here. if we want to change things, we start changing ourselves, as the late michael jackson sang it " im starting with the man in the mirror" Although, I dont like PNOY, I want him to succeed, coz his failure means our doom. We can always criticize our leaders, but in the end, we try to be part of the solution instead of being a problem

i really dont idolized PNOY. he just have that heroic blood running in his veins but that doesnt mean that he's the right one to be our president. i think he's not competitive enough compare to other presidency candidates last election. just think about this, did he already make a big change to our country? i dont think so...

i'd say he's a trapo. he hasn't done anything concrete to say he's not like the old trapos we have in philippine politics.

Iluvusabado, how about putting yourself the shoes of the president with so many things to deal with especially tackling the flaws of the previous administration. This is the very thing that disables to progress. We do not have the coordination with our government. We all know that there are many corrupt politicians here, but how about assessing ourselves on what WE have done, rather than what should THEY DO?

He is definitely a game changer, although i don't agree with some of his methods, but definitely there is change in the country. Maybe we are not yet adjusted to his methods, but i can see it's effective. It stirs something inside of you knocking you off your balance thinking and feeling ackward with every word and action taken by him.

ic, maybe he is, if he is able to make you feel that way, and so many others, then he is. we have not had any presidents for a long time that people actually like.

I dont know if i should say he is also a TRAPO because we knew who are his parents. Maybe his Cabinet Members are the Trapo, because they are the one who instigate Pinoy on what to do to the government.

but Ninoy himself have said that he was a trapo, he said that he was just like any other politicians, so what does make of PNOY? and do we really value the worth of a person from what his/her parents have done?

I'm not a Pnoy fan but just look at how our economy is strong now, another thing is he's defense procurement and our ability to pay for them, It's not a big thing but think he is doing better when it come to National defense better than all the other administrations after Marcos

I guess so, i can give him that. I just hated it when trillanes became a backdoor negotiator for the situation in the Scarborough shoal
