A good listener, listens, He values others opinions , He is open to critics, He is willing to learn and unlearn. A good listener is a wise man, smart, accepts failure and do it better the next time. A good listener is a good speaker.

For me, a good listener means something else, too. That, that a good listener is eager to listen to what others say, and LISTEN to them, not just hear them, and they analyse what they say, so they could react in a good way, and they are always there for friends if they need a shoulder to cry on or someone to complain to.

i may say a good listener is not only who listen its how you react on the speaker sometime we discover we are good listener its because theirs a good speaker

A good listener is someone that hears you from the heart. He allows himself to be immersed with the same pain that you might be feeling then provide you good advice.

A good listener is a wise MAN? Why is a listener a man? A good listener is seldom a man. Man do not have time to listen. They just want to give you advices without understanding this is not what you need, you just need an ear. BTW a good listener does not need to speak at all. Just being there.
