I deleted everything in my inbox.

I don't delete sweet text messages of my husband, my relatives and friends. I always save them in my inbox. I just delete chain text messages, quotes, text alerts, etc. However, I went to the service center this morning to let them fix my phone. My track pad has a problem. Sometimes, the sensitivity is very sensitive but sometimes it can't sense at all. I got afraid that someone might get my husband's cell number or my friends' or relatives' numbers. I'm quite sad about it. Then to my surprise, they allowed me to bring home my phone and they'll just text me if the part is already available. The messages are gone. I can't retrieve them back. How about you fellow myLotters, do you save or delete text messages in your inbox? Have you deleted your messages accidentally? Feel free to share your thoughts. Happy mylotting everyone.

Yes, looking back to our old sweet memories make us happy. Memories are our treasure forever. We'll always remember them until we get so old that we could no longer remember those memories. Let's live on those with those sweet memories. Thanks again for posting.

I never delete those messages that are quite important for me, such as my friends' comfort words, blessings and encouragement. However, I need to change my cell phone sometimes, and I will lose those messages. What a pity!

Save your messages in your memory card. I guess your message storage is your phone memory. That's why you lose them. Yes, it's saddening when we lose our sweet messages. We'd like to keep them forever. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Yes I have deleted messages before that I didnt want to ever erase.. I was so upset when it happen.. But I got over it after a while.. I just figure that it was not as big as I made it out to be.. And I still have the memories in my head that I can refer back to at any time.. Unless they get "deleted" or what not but if that does happen it wont be for many many years

Yes, that's right. Even if we could no longer see those important messages they're still in our heads and in our hearts. They're not actually gone. They are kept somewhere and we'll forever remember them. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

I don't save them on my phone for that very purpose. If there are some from my husband that I want to save I send them to my computer. There I can save them to my hard drive forever without worry.

I do not know what kind of phone you are using but if you are using an Android or Apple smartphone - you would appreciate the available backup which facilitates a backup of all your text messages, contacts and installed programs into your phone's extended flash memory. And when you accidentally erased anything like this, you can simply engage this facility and restore instantaneously at a press of a button. Furthermore, if you have a cloud account the data could be have a further backup of your data in your phone's expanded memory which could be recalled and used when your smartphone is stolen or lost.

Oh, my phone is not android or apple. Although I can access Skype, Facebook, Twitter, YM, etc. I can't still consider it as a smartphone. Those are good apps. I hope I can get myself a smart phone in the future.I only use my phone myLotting and chatting in Skype and Facebook. I seldom send text messages and make calls. I use it only as my receiver. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

oh,it's really sad. Even I am also having the habit of saving the messages sent to me by my loved ones. It's really good to read it again and again. Some two years before I too have deleted my inbox unexpectedly which really made me sad. From then after I started to archive my messages also. So that even if accidently I come to delete my inbox I can get it back from the archived list.

Hi friend, i will delete messages after reading them, i will save some important messages in my draft. I am not interested in keeping messages in my inbox, it will disturb the upcoming messages, so i will delete the messages after reading it. Good to know that you are keeping your hubby and relatives messages in your inbox.

Actually when my phone was mono chrome and that phone have only limited memory I deleted all messages that are not important. Since phones now a days have huge memory I store them all but sometimes when I have the mood in reading the messages thats the time when i have to delete some of it.

Oh, that's great to hear. Yeah, I guess we receive unimportant messages too. Deleting them makes more rooms to more important ones. It's good to have a phone that has a huge memory. My phone can also store up to 300 messages. I deleted good messages on purpose so that they can't get the cell numbers of the senders. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

I'm not really a fan of texting and those text qoutes thing. But sometimes, reading text message if kind of fun especially if it's dedicated to you. :) I've never experience such incident but I remember deleting some important text in my phone by accident. It's kind of annoying when that happens. .
