One country that gets my interest is Japan. I was hooked into watching anime when I was a kid. I watched them every after my class. I was even addicted to reading manga before. So, having these desires led me to having an interest in expanding my knowledge about Japan. I studied speaking Nihonggo but because of my busy schedules, all of these were vanished to my thoughts.

Ohayo! I'm the same as you. Still hooked to anime and manga from school years until now. In fact I just finish reading some manga online earlier. I'm also interested in knowing about Japan, its culture and its people.

sad to say, as a grown up, I had no time for watching and reading. I have to add another day to a week just to have time with anime. I am even a frustrated artist! :D I tried drawing my favorite anime and truthfully saying, "I miss it."

Yeah, you are right. Working stole most of our time. And even more so when you have a family to attend to. For me, i make use of any little free time to quench my thirst of reading manga. Watching anime is quite hard, since it took longer times to even finish an episodes. So you even draw? That's great, but sorry to say, but it is pitiful as well. I think i can understand.

Hello natzumi! I am also into "Japanese" stuff and I really like all things that are kawaii. LOL. I also studied Hiragana and Katakana but because of my hectic schedule, I had to stop and focus on my work. Every weekends though, I take time to read manga or if I still have time, watch anime. Every Sunday, I bring my sketchpad with me and go to the park to draw animes. It relaxes me.

Yeah Japan, the land of rising sun! I know a little bit of Nihongo because we have asian language subject back in college. I was a lot more interested in the culture because i grew up watching anime and japanese classic anime so its not that intersting to me anymore. I love watching j-drama more though and classic edo period dramas. hahaha! oh and sakura! i love cherry blossoms.

As a matter of fact, I am really interested in Japan and the people's culture too. In fact I learned Japanese language which they call it as nihongo on my own. I have similar interest in watching manga and anime. I wish one day with some Japanese language skill I will go to Japan and interact with the people there and attend some interesting local events.

I also grew up watching those anime. And more than these Japanese cartoons, I'm also interested with jaoan's technologies when it comes to gadgets and even...makeups, lol! Yes, some cosmetic gadgets that are really innovative were created in Japan, like those penlike face powder and really natural and effective facial wash, to name a few.

You're right, Japan is really an interesting country. I'm a big fan of anime too and I watch about 15 different anime and still growing in number. I try drawing anime too but not in paper, I try it in computer. But I stop doing that cause it's so tiring, I don't have computer tablet so I have to draw using mouse, really tiring and time consuming. :)
