I know that when the first Twilight came out, I wasn't impressed and I was a bit disappointed since I loved the books. But with each movie that came out I noticed things would get better and better and I still enjoyed watching them.
Now that the final installment has been released, I'm a bit sad that it's all over :( I just got back from watching Breaking Dawn part 2.
I won't give anything away..all I'll say is that I loved it and it was definitely my favorite movie out of all of them. I got goosebumps during the movie. Without giving anything away, all I can say is WOW.
I just can't get over it lol. I want to go back and see it again.

I'm already said my reaction in your other discussion... I don't think Breaking Dawn Part II was my favorite of the films, but I did enjoy it overall. Being a fan of the books, I wasn't disappointed with the first film, (I might be ridiculously easy to please) but I agree that they definitely got better and better.
I don't think I want to see it again. lol Well, maybe. If I could close my eyes when certain characters I love... ummm... meet unfortunate fates?

I thought the first movie was good, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations after reading the books. The acting just seemed a bit awkward and choppy. I think that as the series progressed the actors started to really connect with each other and it showed on screen.
I really don't know why I liked this one so much. I was absolutely horrified during that one scene and my jaw literally hit the floor and didn't close. I probably looked like an idiot in the theater with my mouth wide open and shock. AT least the next time I see it I'll know what to expect and I won't get as upset during that one scene.

I probably looked like an idiot too, cowering against my sister, hyperventilating and alternating between covering my eyes and squeezing all the blood out of her hand. She tried to reassure me that the entire theater looked that way, but I was probably a little too absorbed with my own horror to notice. lol
My other friend who went with us said she could probably enjoy the scene if she saw it again, knowing what to expect. I don't know personally. I'd have to cover my eyes eight or nine times...

Lol yes, I was sitting in the first few rows so I couldn't really see how everyone was reacting..I could only hear. People were gasping, screaming, and going nuts. I'm sure our reactions completely blended in lol!
As much as I want to see the movie again, I still think I'll wince a few times during that scene even though I know what the final outcome will be.

They really did an impressive trailer of the movie. I'm not a twilight fanatic and I've only watch the first movie and I didn't like it. I also read the New moon novel, it was okay but it wasn't good enough for me to watch the movie. But upon seeing the Breaking dawn trailer, I got goosebumps and I'm excited to go to the theater to watch it. i hope i can still watch it since I have to watch the other twilight movies that I haven't seen. I'm also planning to read the books. I'm a huge twilight fan now.

The last one was by far my favorite. You should either read or watch the other books and movies before seeing this new movie.

Hi Courknee,
Wow! This is really encouraging! I'm not a fan of the movie series as well and I only watched it on the big screen once. I didn't like it much. I find it boring. When I saw the trailer for the breaking dawn, it actually got my attention and interest again. So I watched breaking dawn part 1 and I liked it! I would really like to watch the part 2 in the cinema. I thinking maybe this weekend. I've heard a lot of good comments about it and adding this one I would really watch it this weekend, thanks!

It's miserable watching the movie cram the whole 200+ worth of books into a 2 hr long movie. I know they have to cut the vital parts but still. Ahm, not really a fan of the whole series but the best of all the movie of the franchise so far. Or because I did get over kristin's acting. hehe goth mode much?
