I am a poor chicken getting fatter and fatter, But I don't like this fattening business, rather, I would like to be slim and elegant, prim and proper, Full of vigor and life, but that is of least matter, The season of peace and joy makes our end in batter, Fried, roasted or spiced with all ingredients of matter, That bring taste and spice to fill your full laid platter, At a tender age,I am sacrificed for your tasty platter, So this is a sad story of a fat chicken that sitting on the platter.

so sad..but God creates chicken to be consumed by human. that is why God doesnt give feeling to animals. God gives brain to them but the brain is small enough and it is only used for struggle in life, such as eating, having 'children' and defend themselves from predators. i like chicken very much. if i think about their life in the husbandary im sad cos they are fed by chemical food, having big size though their age still underage abd having very short life. and t is happened because there is demand from people. people are greedy, right?

The chicken which were reared by nature was good and healthy, the Hormone injected ones are the unhealthy ones that cause cancer and other related disease.

hmm i left eating chicken a few months back. But still some of my friends force me to eat when ever i got out with them. They just don't understand that i left it. They think i am boasting. But still i think now when ever i see the chicken in the platter i will remember this poem/story. Nicely written.
