I would love to invest in things so I can save later. In relation to energy use. I would love to go solar but I don't own my home, I rent an apartment. I do not know any alternatives to be able to use in an apartment. I do watch my energy use but would love to know in possibilities to really get my energy use down! Any experts out there or good experiences?

Why can't you use solar in a rented home? You can take it with you when you move on. We have the opposite situation. We own our home, but have a borrowed solar system!

Hi Tangle, I think the best for you is to save enough money to get your own place to stay. No point paying rental month after month, and the house is not in your name. Once you have your own house, you will definitely feel better, and ideas to save money will come. I think you can save on energy by wearing winter clothing at home, so that you do not need to warm the apartment too much. A warm house in winter definitely costs you money in energy.
