is ice cream always a part of your grocery list?

I mean, do you always have ice cream in your refrigerator? I know someone who always makes it a point to include ice cream in her weekly grocery list. It's just half a gallon every 15 days but still she makes it part of her grocery list. I don't do this of course. Ice cream is fattening and sugary. Besides, it would cost me an arm and leg to have this each time. So for health and budget reasons, I do not have ice cream on my grocery list. I only have the basics and there is nothing fancy added in my list. How about you?

yes, i have cones on my list once a week. they have either sprinkles on them or nuts. the flavors are usually vanilla, chocolate, cherry vanilla . they come in a box of eight. it seems to satisfy my sweet tooth and not that abundant in calories. i love it for calcium, too.

Hi Zhe! It is true what Heaytheblogger said. You don't have to worry about your English or anything. You're doing fine. So you seldom eat ice cream. Thanks for responding.

hi cutie18f. i don't usually buy ice cream except when there are occasions at home like birthdays or get-togethers so ice cream isn't a regular item in my grocery list. similar to you, i consider health and budget before splurging on such an item. my grocery list normally includes food, drinks, and fruits. nothing fancy and mostly basic stuff that you'd see in a normal household. cheers and happy mylotting cutie18f!!!

hey cutie18f. good to know that. i would occasionally buy a high-priced item once in a while but those times are few and far in between. yesterday though, i bought blueberries which costs almost $8. my mom was surprised that i bought such. i told her that i wanted to try it out and the purchase was just a one time thing.

For me, yes, I always have some of Ice Cream (even in winters) and Coffee in stock. Maybe this is because I love them a lot. I always get plain vanilla flavored icecream from the store and put it in the freezer! And when eatin it - I usually go for all the modifications and add ons I can find in home.

We don't have ice cream on our grocery list. But we do usually buy some type of snack food to have in the house. Ice cream I think for us would be the cheaper of the snack foods. I enjoy baking and by the time I have all the ingredients for the pies it would have been more convenient and cheaper to have bought ice cream.

I usually don't love sweets at all, but i eat ice cream for sometime. But ice cream from our grocery list is a NO. We just buy the important things that we need in our house, the usual items that must have.

True.. but if you can afford to buy it every payday then nothing is wrong. but just think about the risk it would bring if you will have it always. too much is bad. hehe

I like ice cream but I seldom buy it. As I have a good ice cream machine at home and I can make it by myself with any flavors. It is much more natural and healthy. And I can tell you that it tastes wonderful because I add the natural things rather than the medical stuff. It is easy to make the ice cream at home and therefore I don't have to buy it in the supermarket.

No, it's not part of my grocery list since bucket ice cream is costly compared to fastfood icecreams sold in my place. so, i prefer buying ice cream on fast food chains than in the grocery.

LOL! Wow, ice cream on the grocery list all the time? Hmm, i think not for me. I never buy ice cream to stock it up in my refrigerator. Yes, one point is that eating too much ice cream is fattening and unhealthy. On the other hand, my family doesn't really like to eat ice cream all the time. So, we only buy them in sticks sometimes during hot days if we went for outing or for leisure sake. =) So, basically no ice cream in my grocery list. Hehe..

I wanted to but I dont have ref. What i always have in my grocery list is coffee and chocolates. It is okay to have ice cream, it is stress reliever. If I buy ice cream it has to be consumed right away, otherwise it will just be a waste of money. Yes, good source of protein and calcium too because its dairy milk, specially for the children.

I eat ice cream just in the summer days, and then just in those days which are very hot. Ice cream is not my favorite dessert, I prefer a cookie, a donut or something which is not melting in my hand, so I could have enough time to enjoy it. But anyway ice cream or any other dessert is not an usual item of my grocery list (budget reasons too).

Hi Ilike. When I have enough money, I still do not include ice cream in my list. We have a kid in the house so I do not want to be giving her too much fat and sugar.

I usually have ice cream in the refrigerator at all times, but I have recently allowed my frozen foods to run down. I do this occasionally and then restock the whole refrigerator. Ice cream is just one of numerous items that I do not currently have, but I shall be replenishing everything soon so it will not be long before the refrigerator is full again. I do not restrict myself to ice cream at summertime, instead I eat it all year round.

No, my weekly grocery list is composed of: infant's milk, diapers, toiletries, noodles, canned goods, meat and condiments. I seldom eat ice cream, I'd say once a week and i only buy those ice cream in cones or in pint, that's the largest size.
