Total Recall 2012

I am not in favor of this remake, because the original is still the best for me. why create a total recall remake when you can make a prequel of it? Though the special effects was better compare to the last one, maybe i should watch it i might change my own perspective to that movie. am sure there are better news to this one

yes..i like the fast paced action in this remake.. the Arnie's version is no doubt a classic..but fair is fair..this new one is good too ..

I easily liked the original Total Recall better then the second. There were so many similarities between the two movies in plot and dialog, so if you knew the original, there was no shock or surprise with the new movie... except where they were. The original takes place on Mars, which works great for a futuristic sci-fi... the new one has earth in a 2 colony system, the overlords of the planet, and the colony where all the bad people go... which is Australia... Now, there's a difference between sci-fi and baloney... I can more easily believe in massive future changes, like having the colony of evil people on Mars, more then believing Australia would be changed back to being a jail-country. But, both movies are action packed, fun movies... I just wouldn't recommend it to someone who was a fan or the original.

Yes,I find it to be an upgraded version of the original, but in totality I think the old and new is almost the same. If I remember it right, in Arnold's movie, he wants to go to Mars for a vacation while in the new version, Colin's would like to know his past. And without knowing it, he was used by her supposed to be wife in tracking his friends. Although, I like the movie for it's fast paced action but I like the old one for originality.

I have seen the movie and it was just okay. I haven't seen the Schwarzenegger Total Recall but my dad said the original is better.
