There's a rumor or a news of an impending 'tornado' about to happen in your place. What do you think is the best source to know its details?

The local radio station is best at reporting local weather as it happens. Unless it's something like an enormous storm that catches the attention of national news, most tornadoes and things like that aren't even reported, or reported after the fact at best.

What other sources will you consult besides the local radio station?

Wunderground and/or Accuweather on the internet, if it's up. When the weather gets bad we can't depend on the internet, though.

Have you personally witnessed homes in your neighborhood being washed away by raging flood or carried away by tornados? Just curious.

I would probably be the last one who would hear that news. I doubt I would go search for more info. They say in cases of need we should keep tv/radio on.. if that will help? I learned they are not even able to forecast the weather 1 day ahead, since they are "able" to forecast the weather 14 days ahead it's even worse. So I doubt the sites I usually visit and who always are wrong will make sense at a moment like that. I also doubt if tv, radio, internet will work at all.

I presume you've less faith in all the weather sources named, what then will you do in the face of real tornado occurrence?
