Never Share

I don't think there is anything I wouldn't share on mylot. I'm never going to meet these people so I have nothing to hide. Plus there are so many things I like to talk about like my kids and grandkids.

yes that's what i love about mylot and mylotters. What ever i cant share is confidential . So i don't want to talk about that.

I think I've shared something personal on two or three occasions only, and it's just about my son's inquisitiveness. Mostly I just share my opinions on certain issues. Maybe I'm not yet that comfortable to the idea of sharing personal stuff with virtual friends. I'm used to talking about personal things in person. I'm too old-fashioned probably.

I don't know if I am open minded but I don't care to share. Not here or in real life. It's not that I share everything with everybody (no matter if they like to hear it or not) but I just don't have secrets or find subjects that private as most people. So if someone is asking I answer. I would not post here (or anywhere else) private things someone said to me, since this is what I call gossiping. Also, to my opinion, you should not talk about what others consider as a private thing. So I would not post the private problems of my friends over here for example.

I am a rather private person and don't talk much about what goes on in my life. It's too depressing. I come to mylot to forget. I have talked to a few members about problems, but I don't go into things in depth. Only in PMs or emails. Also, I'm not a typist so it takes me longer to type anything and, if I were inclined to discuss my problems, it would take me days to type it up. But I suppose it's common knowledge among those I've talked to in discussions that I need a job, I'm trying to get rid of all my stuff and move somewhere else, preferably to another planet, and am running out of money. That's the extent of my sharing. Oh, and the passing in 2007 & 2009 of 2 of my cats that were special to me in the extreme. Losing them had a devastating effect on me emotionally and I have never been able to get over it for some reason, particularly the 2007 one. And my mother's passing away in 2005 was also extremely bad for me. She was quite old and in a nursing home. She went in her sleep which was very good. But now I need her to help me and she's not here. I miss her every day. That's it.

I share quite a few different things here, but I'm starting to think I shouldn't do that anymore because some people are so judgemental and they can't just simply give their opinion without being rude. However, I really don't care what other people think of me. I'm just here to have some good conversations and get to know people. The people who are rude and judgemental, I can just ignore their comments!

Hi leat! Good discussion. If you come to know what a mylotter is not going to share here, then the cat will be out of the bag and the secret will be open.. Having said that there are certain personal matters, which I won't like to share on mylot. Otherwise, I do not hesitate to share my opinions and views and experiences with mylot friends.

I share quite a bit, but to be honest I kind of keep it "in the box" that is to say some friends here took a long time to find out certain "new / old developments". I guess I am "closed open" being that I am open to share about anything but I may not share all details right away.

I consider Mylot as on online diary and my shock-absorber. That is how I define Mylot and that is what I am doing here. I don't know if is there's any- thing that I haven't shared with mylot and other friends- as long as it is not against the rule and never content mature topic. Well, I guess I haven't started some job-related experience like- the interview process and guide but I know I have share it to my responses when someone ask for some tips.

In the time that I've been a mylot member, I've been likely to share almost everything that is going on in my life and the members of this site have been a great support to me through some of the tough times that I've faced since I've been a member here. Now that you've made me think about it, there is only one thing that I can think of that I would not share on here and that is information about the surveys that I take online because when you take those surveys you do agree to not talk to others about the information that is disclosed in the surveys.

Hi leateagee Well, there are a few things which I dont feel comfortable with - like politics and religion - so hesitate being on those discussions from strangers here at MyLot. Then there are some personal life matters which I will NOT share. Apart from those, I guess it all depends on the discussion, the person whom I am responding to and what mood I am in.

I really share pretty much everything here. I don't feel the need to hide things. I am not a big secretive person or anything... So I don't worry about what not to share! =)

You have reminded the confidential issues can not be shared. I totally agree with you, especially the inpersonal confidential one. There are many things confidential in our daily life. In our company, we have some confidential knowledge and documents. As a citizen in a country, we have our duty to keep something not revealed outside. After i mentioned the confidential ones above, you may which kind of things you can share, and which cannot.
