I feel so bad :(

SO today i spent 6 1/2 hrs in the children's emergency room with my son. For days hes had a fever, mucus in his chest, and barely breathing. I waited for 4 hrs in the waiting room then 2 hrs in the hospital room. He has Bronchitis and the Flu. I feel sooo bad for my little boy. No kid deserves to feel this way. Hopefully he will feel better soon for his first Thanksgiving!!

Sorry to heard about your son. Hope he will get better soon. Having him at hospital on a controlled enviroment will make him better.
Reading your situation, remind me of my son admitted last time.
He was suppose to get a drip in him. The medical assistant try to insert the needle to his vain. What make me mad is it take the medical assistant trying more than 5 times inserting the needle without success. My son cry a lot and even had a trauma seing a doctor bed after that.

Luckily my son didn't scare of doctor after that. He only scare to see those needle and the treatment bed.

Luckily my son wasnt admitted but we were there for a long time. I am sorry to hear that the medical assistant did that to your son. Im sure your son was scared to see the doctor after that im sure i would be too. I am glad your son is better now too. My son is feeling somewhat better today so lets hope for the best.

Kids are too sensitive in having flu. And it is very hard. I experience also that kind of situation when my baby is just 5 months i guess and he always have fever,cough with colds and always crying. the doctor finds out that he has pneumonia and asthma. But thanks god he is well now.Just pray and i hope your baby will be in good condition.

My son already has asthma and is on a nebulizer. now the flu and bronchitis on top of the asthma is killing him. i hope he gets better soon too. and im sorry to hear about your boy too. i hope that doesnt happen to him again. its always sad when a baby or a kid is that sick or sick at all. they are all just miserable when they dont feel good.

Hello LovingurSon, that's really sad my friend, kids get sick when they have health problems or when they are conscious with their surroundings that much that you can't take them into unfriendly areas. am sure he will get cured but what he needs now is a lot of medication and rest.

well they gave him a prescription for steriods but his insurance he has nobody takes here because its nys insurance. So i have to find the money to fill it.

It takes a while in the hospital npw a days, I usually end up just booking a doctors appointment to save the wait. I hope he is feeling better now,and has some medicaation to clear it up. I remember being in and out of the hopital as a kid, isnt the best life experience.

He is feeling better now and he is on medication but hes still having breathing issues. I would have booked him an appointment with the doctor but we just moved to north carolina and he doesnt have a doctor here yet.
