hello my lotters,I have topics to discuss today, it is about my student who confided me of her problem. One day she called me up crying with too much pain and relates to me her problem about her husband. She states that she is legally married with a 3 years old son.she is married for 4 years, just recently her husband confessing her that He and his niece is in relation and planning to present and inform to the family about their plan of living together as soon as she arrives from the middle East since she is working as a nurse. She was asked by her husband to sign the annulment that he filed, yet it is on process, and that she asked my advised if she is going to sign when I said NO you are giving them both the freedom that they don't deserve and yet it is you as the legal wife who is supposed to own your husband and live a happy life with your son. I cant imagined how could this be wherein both are relatives yet ,they said that it is not written in the bible that the uncle and niece are not allowed to marry. they are embracing the Christian religion .Do you believe its proper? what can u say?

It is forbidden by law for relatives up to third degree of consanguinity and affinity to have intimate relationship and get married. I think that it is just sick to be married to someone that is blood-related. Folks would say then, that if these people get married, their off springs will have psychological problems because they have been cursed for disobeying.
