Well the best way that I know of is to have one of those food saver machines. other then that I would say to put them into single or double serve plastic containers and cover them well. Make sure the lids lock closed. I would use those ZipLoc containers. They should last a while. And I said single or double is so that you can freeze them that way so you can just take a few out and heat them up without defrosting all of them.

Its always good to have some food in the freezer. Here is what else you could do. You can pick a day or two and just make a bunch of different dinners and then get the food saver machine and freeze them. Then you will have dinners for a few weeks.

Do you have any tupperware containers? I would wrap them either in tin fooil, wax paper or even seran wrap then store them in a dish which they will alst longer that way. Whereas with just the foil or even plastic if air gets at them they are toast.

just follow your friends suggestion, trust me it wouldn't harm your bell peppers.

I would dice them, cook them, and then follow your friend's suggestion.
