Considering an idea to make college money through Mturk...

I'm posting this here because it has to do with making money for college - I apologize if this is the wrong category. Basically, I'm considering using an education kickstarter that will function partly as a fundraiser for charities with wishlists on Amazon. For every $5 and up donation to my school, I would buy double the value (or whatever object value is closest), plus shipping, in goods for places like SPCA shelters or hospices,etc. This works for me because, as a Canadian, I can buy items on Amazon.com, but I can't take out the cash itself (or believe me, I'd be working around the clock.) Does this sound doable or legitimate to anyone?
