Were there any deleted discussions which you didn't expect to be deleted?

I've encountered a lot. I avoid some discussions which are under poll-type, similar topics, no content, discussing myLot earnings, etc. However, some were deleted and I was always wondering what have they violated. I hope notifications will also write about the reasons why are responses or comments were deleted. What do you think fellow myLotters? Feel free to share your thought. Happy mylotting everyone.

angel you stepped right into the poll type trap your title sounds like you are polling everyone asking about discussions we did not expect to be deleted. if o nly people would realize a title often gets your discussion deltted as it is polling us. instead ex."CAnnot understand why some
are deleted" title then make it a personal issue and ask your take f ellow my lotters?

Oh, thanks for the info. Actually, creating titles is very hard for me. LOL. Maybe this could get deleted but it's fine at least I've learned something from your response. Thanks a lot for dropping by. Happy mylotting.

Hi friend, we all try our maximum to avoid the violated topics, however some times we are replying and creating this kind of topics without our knowledge and come to know about the violation after getting the notification mails. Deletions are quite common here and it is really hard to find a person without facing deletions, better to avoid the violated topics as much as we can to stay away from deletions

Yeah, you're right. If any of the discussions have the possibility to be deleted, I guess we should just avoid responding them. That will save our time and effort. But some are difficult to determine if they've violated any of the guidelines. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Many times there have been discussions that I have responded back too, and even started that have been deleted and I have wondered why. As I like to talk about a lot of interesting things here, and respond back in different types of discussions it just continues to encourage me to keep on posting back more.

Yes, you're right. Even if we are left puzzled, we have to continue posting our responses and our comments. I can identify some discussions that might get deleted but I sometimes don't expect that a a certain discussion got to be deleted. Maybe it violated something. Sometimes, I'd like to know the reason but I don't have any choice. Anyway, we should keep on posting. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Yes it happens to me. I think that the comment I posted here is according to the guideline but when I see it is against guideline I feel sad. It is sometimes hard to determine if the discussion is right. But admin knows it better so he deletes it. Cheers.

Yeah. Sometimes we expect that our discussion won'tg et deleted but when we receive the notification and see our violation, we admit that it really needed to be deleted. We get informed about our violation. Where as if we are only responders, we receive some notifications but the reasons weren't written there. So we sometimes don't know what did the discussion makers violated. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Yes me too, like what i have said before, the guidelines are quite vague for me. so when I received a notification from mylot telling me that my response has been deleted, i thought what could be its violation.

Yeah, it leaves us wondering about the discussion maker's violation. Some are difficult to determine. I guess we have to check the guidelines and check the nearest possible reason. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

I guess we encounter such deletion every day. I guess we have to avoid responding to those discussions which are violating the guidelines. But some discussions are difficult to analyze. I've posted my responses to some discussions and they got deleted. I was notified of the deletions but the reasons weren't written. So sometimes I just guess about the reason. LOL. Yeah, we should post our discussions carefully. It's better to post our personal experiences in life. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Its so hard to figure out what you do wrong when you dont get a notification explaining what you did wrong . I understand what you are saying , happen to me a lot in the beginning .

Yeah. I guess we receive the same notifications. It says "Your answer has been deleted because the question it was under was deleted." Something like that. So there's no any information why were those discussions deleted. I hope myLot would include the reason too like when our own discussion gets deleted. The reason is written in the notification. I did experienced such deletion though I thought the topic has no violation.
Well, I don't know exactly why it happens- even if the notification stated the reason why it is deleted the fact that the reason of deletion is far from what the topic contain.

Yeah, it's sometimes puzzling me too. Like discussions under poll-type. I think poll type is a survey from which there are given options to choose from. But one time, I just enumerated some sample answers and that fell under poll type questions. LOL. I am learning from myLot each day. I don't know if this discussion will still exist tomorrow or a few hours from now. LOL. Anyway, thanks a lot for posting and happy mylotting.

Yes. I always wonder about the reasons. Only the discussion makers knew what have they violated. I hope mylot will edit their notification and notify us responders about the reason of the deletion of the discussions posted. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.
