I like to read manga

Do you like to read manga? Is it something strange for a person aged 23 years old very like to read manga? Does i look like a kid if I like to read manga? What do you think?

I like reading manga and watching anime too, moreover, I'm a mangaka as well. ^^ For others who's not into anime/manga that would probably sound strange to them, because they don't understand what we like about it and usually think it's weird and that people should have gotten over it when they became adults.
For me it isn't strange, because I can find entertainment in them, it's really fun to read or watch manga/anime. I know people who are even over 30 years old who still like anime, I too had been surprised before but as years pass by I learned to accept them, and now I even picture myself to be one of them some time in the future. lol! XD

Haha not only manga i also like anime to. I see manga not like other cartoon comic sometime the story in there not suitable for kid so it is not for kid. I dont know why people here think we are like a kid when we read manga or watch anime.

Anyways...
Yep, most of them are really not suitable for kids. XD Well, it's just that they really can't relate to us that's why they speak of us that way. And as what I've been saying ever since about animes, there are lessons that we could get from those animes even though they could get so violent or mature at times (or most of the time), like the usual thing of not giving up your dreams, fighting for what you truly believe, not letting anyone to pull as down, learning to value life, family and friends. There are a lot of wisdom in there, but sadly, the only thing that those people know is to assume that we (anime-lover) never grow up from our childhood, that we are still fascinated by those animation-that-doesn't-make-sense-and-only-for-childern.

Yeah there a some lesson in anime especially sport anime they teach a people not to give up when facing hardest opponent. Some people think we not grow up from childhood because they see anime same like other cartoon. Cannot blame them because they dont know anything about anime.

I'm 22 and I still read manga. Just because we read manga means we are childish, it means we have the kid's heart and that is not a bad thing. People have so many misconceptions. Just because they don't have similar interest like us they view us as strange.
For one thing, everyone is unique and strange.
So yes, I love to read manga. Now I am currently following Code breaker, Liar Game, skip beat, one piece and many others. ^_^

Dont worry. It's usual. Everyone has different hobbies.
I love the feelings when I hold the manga books on my hands, openning them gently :P

Yes nobody can talking something bad about our hobby. Manga is not only for a kid but for all age i think. It not same like other cartoon.

yes i really like it,it not strange manga is for everyone no matter what there age is,no your wont be like a kid reading manga,manga is really good for everyone that the thing its really popular

Wow that mean you are very addicted with manga! At Japan i see a lot of adult people like to read manga but i dont know why at here it look strange.

I never tried reading manga in my entire life. Even in my highschool life. I think reading manga is good if you love their characters and admire them. If you love sketching, manga can help you with it too.. It really depends on a persons hobby, nobody should judge you if you like them.

Hi there! Is it really that weird? I mean if it was, I guess you can say I'm weird as well. I'm 23 years old and I like watching animes and reading mangas. Some friends call me odd because I like to watch shows in languages that are foreign to me. (I also love watching koreanovelas and asian movies rather than watching Filipino and English shows). I don't care what people think of me though as long I am not hurting anyone. Besides, I learn a lot from watching animes and reading mangas! (^.^)

I like anime to. Sometime i also watch Korean and Japanese drama. I not really like english series. Maybe weird for them because a lot of english series here in television.

Of course it's not. I'm 19 years old now and still watching anime. I'm not a fan of reading manga but I do read sometimes. Even my older brother who is already 24 yrs old still watch anime but only specific anime. Not like me, I watch any anime that get my attention. But what I'm saying is that it's okay to read mange at your age but also remember that we're all growing up so sooner or later we need to be responsible enough. :)
