Mylot's downtime

I've also been wondering about this. Each time this happens, I check my internet speed. And when I ping it, the speed is normal. So I assumed that it's the site that's rather slow. First I thought maybe there are certain times wherein traffic is huge - a lot of members are actively posting, commenting and stuff. But then we come from different parts of the world with different time zones, so I don't think the time of day is a factor. Oh, well, I hope someone could enlighten us about this.

I never really noticed. I'm usually on mylot in the very early morning hours, and there seems to be a lot of topics to respond to at that time. I am on later in the evening again, and I can always find great posts to respond to. I'm never on during the middle of the day, or if I am it's rare.

Hello Cutie18f, Remind you that mylot is six years old or more and with so many people posting online you cannot help but see a lot of users here posting discussions, responses and comments to each other. it can't be helped if there's a slow down time with the site because of the traffic, maybe there could be an issue with the speed of your internet connection? it can still be morning or evening for all i know

I haven't noticed that myLot has downtime. Sometimes, I thought its my internet connection that have a problem. Maybe there really is a downtime. Almost all internet sites need updatin and maybe those downtime that you are saying, myLot is updating. There is no best time for me here than my free time. Maybe day time here is night time in myLot admins so its the best time.

Well i noticed that too, but i thought it is just my internet connection that makes it slow during those times, but generally mylot has normal connections.

Ohh is it? i didn't notice that. Sometimes mylot is slow but i didn't know that it is based on time.

So far this past few days mylot is good to me only sometimes there is an error when I'm posting pictures in my discussion.
