After winning the toss and some poor batting performance from the Indian top players India managed to reach a decent total of 327. A big thanks to Pujara who scored his third test century and well supported by Aswin in the ninth wicket. When all the Indian batsmen fell cheapily before the English spinners only the newbee Pujara and Aswin resisted their attack and led India to a somewhat good score in second test at Mumbai. Pujara(135) once again showed that he is apt for the no:3 position in the Indian squad. Also finally England bowlers manged to get him out with a flighted delivery by Swann. Pujara score 382 runs between the dismissals. Really he have got some great courage and experience from his performance. Aswin once agin proved that he is one of the finest all-rounders present in the test teams now. He gave a well suppported innings to Pujara to led India.Otherwise India's score would be pathetic. In return Indian spinners will also be happy by seeing how the England spinners bowled and how well the pitch is responding to the spinners. Seeing the fact that England spinners took nine wickets out of then total 10 Indian spinners would be eyeing high.
